I just wanted to share my journey with this fragrance, how it became an instant hit in my country Bangladesh, and it also is Rasasi's top seller.

This perfume smells incredible on my husband.I don't get the ashy or smoky scent at all,only the fruity ones with the touch of wine.For me is almost a gourmand perfume. It lasts so long and the sillage is wonderful and sweet like a breeze.I believe it works best in humid autumn days out in the nature.The smell of forest,dried leaves and wet grass amplifies it's unique scent.It's addictive in a very strange way,it's like you want to smell it a little bit more each time so you can pick another interesting note from its bouquet.

If i define this fragrance then i must say when i used it 1st i didn't like as it was way too strong and loud and get headache (even after 2 sprays on my neck)
Then from next day i would like to smell it and becoming addiction of it.
And then finally i wear it for office, just 1 spray on my shirt before 1 hour. And it last after 12 hours just 1 spray and at night my shirt was smelling smoky leathery

Great reviewer but please be careful this is not a blind buy fragrance. I purchased it based on all the positive reviews but did not like the smell much.

Gotta be honest....Shuruah is a POWERHOUSE... I have about 20 fragrances...even some niche houses like Tom Ford, Daniel Josier, Matiere Premier ($$$$) and some top shelf designers.... AND I kid you NOT... this Shuruah is what my wifey calls an "aphrodisiac"....❤❤❤

Rasasi Shuhrah from one of online shop stores in my country is only 30 € .Accorindg to a guy like Joy Amin who is knowledge king for fragrances , it’s worth to buy this perfume. I will order inshaAllah.

Blind bought and arrived yesterday, did wear it one time and immediately order a backup bottle.
Finally got my bottle, it is not ashy or dirty to my nose, excellent longevity and powerful scent.

I just got sept 2020 batch of shurah.Damn its a super macho fragrance.Its awesome and more wearable.All I can say is "beware the Sultan is here and no weakling can stand in front of it."people compare it with swiss arabian jannet el firdous black.It may smell similar but lacks that super classy touch of shurah.firdous black smells generic whereas this smells classy.

Using Rasasi since 2011 and my first buy Rasasi Romance for men and it was really a good buy snd after that i used more then 7 bottles
I don't understand I just received this and it's not very strong at all and my tobacco blaze is stronger than this and smokier.

This reminds me of Armaf Italiano Nero uomo. I haven't smelled Paco Rabanne XS but they say Italiano Nero is a clone of it. Shuhrah is wayyyy stronger and long lasting though, with like a sweet incense added to it.
One of the most realistic fresia scent. For me is an early springtime fragrance.
I won't support the not nice people over at dooah.
Shurah is an amazing smell.
So far, I've only sprayed it in the air though.

As much as I love Rasasi Tobacco Blaze (easily my 2nd favorite Rasasi fragrance) there is something about that thick, over-ripe, fruits accord that is hard to love with Shuhrah. On a positive note, it has beast mode performance (16+ hours)...but perhaps I'll have to revisit this one because I didn't care for it in 2017 or 2018. We shall see.
Jim R I’m a bit confused about what accords this fragrance gives off. Based off all the reviews I’ve seen, half the people say it’s a really offensive smokey ashy scent, and others say its a very fruity scent. I’m itching to buy it but just can’t wrap my head around those 2 accords working together. It seems like both of those mixing wouldn’t play well off each other.. What do you pick up from this mainly?
@@SunsetSheen To me, Shuhrah Pour Homme is a complex fragrance that is hard to describe but, in a nutshell, it is one-part Rasasi Tobacco Blaze (70%) and one-part a thick, sweet, over-ripe (my opinion) fruity accord.
Much like Tobacco Blaze, Shuhrah Pour Homme also does not list a tobacco note, yet they both smell like the burnt ashes of a fine cigar (tobacco) that was dipped in apricot brandy and rolled in spices, with violet and perhaps some other floral notes chirping in the background. This is what I love about Tobacco Blaze and why I think it's masterful how Rasasi could make a fragrance containing no tobacco, smell like burnt cigar ashes. I really love it, but I can understand how others may not like it.
Shuhrah also shares this same "Tobacco Blaze" DNA, but with the added element of that thick, sweet, fruits accord that others have mentioned. Some say it balances out and sweetens the ashy elements of this fragrances. Or they say it is sexy or seductive. However, the fruits come across smelling over-ripe to me (bordering on rotting), which I don't like and feel it messes up the fragrance. It's definitely a polarizing scent IMO.
So it is both ashy and fruity. Also, the fruity accord is a think, sweet and loud so perhaps some focus on this aspect and don't notice the tobacco blaze aspects. I hope this helps.
Jim R damn what a description man. It sounds so interesting. Definitely seems like a love or hate fragrance but I’m eager to give it a shot. For around $30 it’s worth trying out.

@@SunsetSheen I wore it last night (first time since last Summer) since my 17-year old daughter had a boyfriend over for dinner and I was in the mood to intimidate and offend. LOL! Surprisingly, my daughter said she "kinda liked it" and she tends to prefer the lighter-citrus-happy type scents. Go figure! Regardless, I noticed the Big Fruits Accord as soon as a sprayed it, followed by Big Smoking Ash accord 10-seconds later. Also, I took a shower this morning and I can still smell it in the pores of my skin. Enjoy...or not! LOL!
@@SunsetSheen top is fruity, so the first spray and hour or so. Dry down is smokey.

Yes , AAZ oudi is similar to shuhrah, i had smelled both oudi has the fruity, caramalised sweetness of shuhrah on the initial top note, minus the smokiness.
Does anyone get a barbershop smell similar to Paco Rabanne green bottle? It's does smell of higher quality than that but I was just wondering if I got a bad batch or a fake one at that. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Hiii Joy... im a regular viewer of urs... i bought many perfumes by seeing ur reviews...most of perfumes are good i think ur very loyal.... but i dont feel that Shuhrah is great on smelling.. very hard & i think some sort of pan masala smell... i felt very dissappointed on buying Shuhrah & the other worst perfume i ever had One Man Show oud edition... only this two perfumes i got fooled by seeing ur reviews & lost my money...

Hey Joy, I think the Rasasi prices in Bangladesh are bit high. You mentioned $50 for Shuhrah and Hawas. That is way too much. Your contact who is bringing the bottles in must be buying in bulk/wholesale and should be paying less than the retail prices and therefore should be selling it for less than the retail price. In the Rasasi boutiques, Shuhrah, Hawas, Woody, Enteba, Daarej and Zebra are all between $14 and $27. The La Yuqawam line is around $68 and Boruzz around $82. But the standard line like I mentioned is way less than what you're paying for. I don't know the inside details of your transactions with your contacts but I'm just letting you know about the actual retail price from a Rasasi boutique with full presentation. Not only that, there are many "buy 2 get 1 free" offers. So basically, you buy La Yuqawam and Tobacco Blaze then you get Ambergris Showers for free. These offers are also in the Boruz line.

nmacog I love to shower in Shuhrah for men, however I’ve heard others say they felt or were told they smelled of smoke. Not my case 😅 I always find it fascinating how our brains process frAgrance.
