- hello guys, this is a re review/revisit of one of the most sweet fragrances in the community, Hawas for him. I did cover this long time back, but since then many years went by, people ask about the performance and reformulations. I tried to explain everything regarding this 2021 batch.

This fragrance is so strong i find it hard to wear cause i usually wear two fragrances a day

I have a March 2018 batch with the darker lavender color, and it lasts a minimum 8-10 hours on skin and days on clothing. Performance has been gimped in the newer batches, but like Joy said, Hawas is still one of the best performing freshies on the market and beats a lot of designers easily.

I was JUST looking at buying the new Hawas bottle and saw Joy's review.
It's beast mode and I get crazy compliments when I wear Hawas.
Two sparys of 2021 batch and I already started to get headache. That strong it is . 👍👍

yea i spray 2 times on clothes 30 mins before i wear and 1 spray before i leave house at the back of neck.
Now that you mention changes in colour... my Daarej got really lighter after 1,5 year. And it never was beastmode on me. Hawas on the other hand, love it, still one of my best compliment getters...
My March 2021 lasted 10-11hrs on skin and 4 days on shirt. It's really good.

that's interesting. how many sprays did you do? i own a bottle from march 2020 by the way. in a video from mehdi scents, he mentioned that the new colorless batches perform the same as the older batches. i find the scent to be very playful but also synthetic. haven't had the courage yet to wear it at wrk

Reformation, or change of juice color, idc … I also have a March 2021 formulation that I received yesterday. It smells great and performs great. No complaints here.
I have this version and didn't think it was that strong at first. However, I sprayed one spray in my bathroom sink and could smell it from probably 20ft away. It projects and lasts huge, but you may not feel like it does when wearing it.
Rasasi Hawas is my favourite fragrance. Long lasting and great when I'm on holiday in tropical climates
I purchased the 2021 and this fragrance is super nice, the dry down is amazing with great projection 💪😎. Great for my collection. Worth a blind buy.

I'm not against your video. I had bought hawas in 2017. Purple juice wen I have bought n still this day it is purple color.
Whenever I spray I get burn on my neck n these are freaking so strong it'll last easy 10 hrs on skin.
I agree newer formulations are trash I have a 2016 and 2018 the 2018 is much weaker about 4 hours top compared to my 2016
I have a 2018 bottle a d the color looks the same to me. Clear juice with light lavender color. The smell has changed on me though. Before it was way more peppery with a strong cumin note in it. Now it's more fresher and sweet with a soapy gel vibe.
Yes the smell has been altered seems like the quality of the ingredients was changed to some degree 🤔
I had an old formulation of Hawas and I bought a new one 2 months ago. To me it's definitely reformulated. My old bottle was like Joy's old bottle and it was beast mode. My new batch March 2021 is half what it used to be....great for about 4 hours though
Agree something was changed in the formula for sure you could also smell the quality is lacking somehow but yeah the nose don't lie🤦🏾♂️
How is rasaso darrej for her???? I bought the hawas for her because of your review on it and it’s my wife’s top 5 and we both have massive collections. It’s magnificent. Didn’t know Dareej had one for woman.
Hawas to me smells like Abercrombie fierce after few hours.! I simply love it!

Most of my 50+ fragrances are blues some exceptions but I’ve heard this is a very strong fragrance. Does it smell strong or light and easy ???

Anyone else have cap issues with their Hawas? Mine only sits on top and doesn’t click in. Falls off if tipped to the side. Have a new formulation and Hawas is still a beauty In 2021

Get the Hawas. It will out perform Ventana. Get Ventana if you like Dior Sauvage. Or get both.

Joy Review Rasasi Shurah 2021 batch vs older batch you got! Is it still beast mode?
I own a june batch 2018 and march 2021 and could definitely tell there's something different in the new formula. The plum is not as rich and juicy and also less airy as the previous version.Might have to give it a few months to mature and see if it gets back to the same way it smelled before 🤔

So maceration actually improved its performance and its competent to 2018 batch right?
@@bilalbutt9632 I'm not an expert but I think using it and then letting it seat helps, happens the same with CDINM and ADG Profondo, I was so disappointed with its performance but later they improved
My may 2021 batch is really weak. After 15-20 minutes it becomes a skin scent and doesn’t last over 5 hours.
Has it changed?
@@prabinprabin5490 it’s strong for like a good hour or two then it’s back to a moderate projecting scent for like 5 more hours. i guess i needed to give it some time

I wore La Yuqawam for the first time today, it's wonderful! I went to Sephora to smell ombre leather again and now I have no interest in what I remembered to be a very realistic soft leather scent haha. 14 hours and I'm still smelling it- 4 sprays. While comparing Versace Eau Fraiche with Victoria's Secret Very Sexy for Him, which is a bit deeper but a similar aquatic profile, I stumbled on Versace Pour Homme; I'm happy you included it in discussion, and now I'm even more curious about Rasasi.
Salam. Please review the Shuhrah 2021 edition as i am very excited after seeing your reviews. Some reviewers on youtube saying the longevity and sillage is half as compare to old batch. So i need to decide if it worth. I shortlisted suhurah from your best sillage video.
New batch(Jan 2021) Shuhrah last only 2 hour on my skin. Buy older batch i u can.

Sir just watch this video may2023, i noticed that you always have the most conservative in terms of longevity, probably it is in the weather/temperature in bangladesh that scents evaporate so fast? Thanks and keep safe.
Man, these reviews do influence!!😄 I Got mine 3 days back and idk why but it's too synthetic for my nose and gives me sorta headache. Although I have other perfumes that are synthetic compositions but I love smelling them upclose in between. Hawas though feels way to sweet for my taste with no bubblegumy vibe but all flowery (women's perfume feel). Honestly, Its not a love yet. I've kept it at the back of my shelf and may try after a month or so. Maybe it works then! If not, money down the drain

Salam O alikum , Joy i recently purchased Dareej 2018 batch in 2021 .. The juice color has changed . It give a purplish vibe but it looks more "light greyish". Comment Please

Happened with me too! Juice is dark blue greyish. However the performance is quite good.

I have a March 2022 version of HAWAS and it is so weak. It's hard to smell it after an hour and a half. I'm so disappointed.

I just received my bottle few minutes ago and i was a bit not sure if maybe i got a fake one as the cap is really bad and loose you cant hold the cap and take your bottle. But the smell i have to say is amazing

People are crazy about reformulations. It's all bullshit, there's like a 5% margin of error for any batch to be slightly different from the last with how precise they are with measurements. If you really want a fragrance that's a lot more powerful than it's current counterpart, you have to go back to the 90s or 80s, because there were less recommendations in regards to oak moss before 2000, and then again before 1986. Even then, there are tons of fragrances that I own that were bottled in the 90s that aren't that damn strong where people are like "ohhh man, this used to be so beast mode back in the day", and the truth is that it never way. People just remember always try to remember things better than they actually were.

@@jarivdgiezen2742 oh okay on the website it looks almost transparent and I've avoided buying it as most have said the performance has been weakened. I have a old 2018 bottle which was really good but sadly down to last 15-10 ml and in the summer I do miss using it.
Well i used to have a 2019 batch, that one was also purple. The new batch are maybe a bit weaker but they are still great, on clothes i can smell it 2 days after applying

My Hawas is not purple at all. It has a clear juice and i think it's a late 2019 or early 2020 batch. Is there any difference between Vintage or 2021 and mine?

It performs good 8hrs for me but doesn't project as much as people tell you so i was just a bit confused. Anyways it's a great fragrance

Why is it so expensive? I found pages where it costs like real Invictus, end even pages with the same price as PdM Layton / Herod lol
In Germany the independent recommended price by the manufracture is 120€, though it is discounted on the (legal and trusted) online parfumeries for about 50€ for 100ml.
I know it used to cost around 20-30€ years ago but of course inflation and increase of popularity in the western countries caused increase in value.
Despite that Rasasi is a very noble high quality parfum house in family hands based in UAE.

@@trauma2441 Prices are calculated variously and also depends on for what price the individual seller gets from Rasasi (or another retailer/supplier) per bottle, not to forget taxes are different in every country, customs patrol fees and shipping costs and personal bonus add to the final price tag.
