  • Pattadakal was once the cultural capital of the Chalukya Empire, and today it stands tall as a testimony of their phenomenal strides in art and architecture. Pattadakal is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is truly unique as both the North and South Indian Temple architectural styles (Nagara and Dravida) co-exist here.
    The site opens early morning at 6am and I strongly recommend reaching here when the gates open. There's no hotel here so you'll need to make Aihole or Badami as your base and take an auto-rickshaw, or taxi from there to come here.
    One of the temples, Virupaksha Temple, is also a functional temple and it's great to be there when the prayers happen. Most of the temples here are dedicated to Lord Shiva, though other Hindu deities are also present. More details on the temple in the video.

    Sir, I was following you on Instagram but quit it. Glad you came up here.
    Drone shots and videography too good sir.
    While most of travellers only go cliche places, of which already infinite videos available you are covering our true culture.
    Just a small suggestion - Do tie up with Ministry of Culture of Govt.of India & Dept. of Tourism with states which can feature your work on their websites.

      Thank you so much Dishant - I am really glad you liked the video 🤗 I love travelling in India and will hopefully continue to make better and better videos in future. Collaboration with the govt departments would be great but it’s pretty difficult to get that. Let’s see maybe in future I’ll be able to work together ❤️

    Sid bhai, 2.5 days is enough for Aihole, pattadakal and badami completely? Planning last week of March 2024.

    • @SiddharthaJoshiFilms
      @SiddharthaJoshiFilms  Год назад

      I don’t think it’s sufficient to do it properly, but can be done if you do it quick enough - in fact most tourists don’t stay at Aihole and do the town in a day or half a day. So it’s certainly possible.
