ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

With all due respect, both of you guys are objectively incorrect. This "duller" color scheme is far more accurate to the Adi Granov artwork that is most closely associated with the extremist armor

The figure it's outstanding. I love it and can't wait to have it in my hands. But I have a big pet peeve. The armor in the packaging it's not the extremis armor, it's the model 25
I actually like the look of the older extremis figure, the biggest problem is too short to really fit alongside the rest of the line
I'm trying to figure out what to do with my older ones. I was planning on doing paint variants but I feel like this update renders the old one obsolete.

This is my favorite Iron-Man suit ever so this was an instant pre-order, I hope we get a Straczynski era Thor that goes along with this suit and is also my favorite Thor suit, hopefully in that leaked Destroyer 2-pack.

If you take a thin sharpie and out line all of the different lines on the figure it makes it 100 times better.

I really wanted Hasbro to make a figure based on the Pentagon armor because I think it looks cooler than the Extremis armor in my silly opinion. Maybe in 2031.

Great job on the review. I do like that the Marvel Legends team is giving updated versions of some of the earlier figures. I hope they will make an updated Pentagon armor that uses the same color scheme as this Extremis armor. I also hope we get a Heroes Reborn armor, with all the intricate sculpted detail of the wire coils contouring his musculature. Since the designs in the comics were lean and lanky, but tall I hope they make him more statuesque at the 7 inch mark and perhaps reuse the mold to give us a Prometheum armor from the same storyline and an Avengers: United They Stand Vision.
I can't wait to get this figure, it looks great! I grew up during the mid 2000s so this version of Iron Man is the definitive one for me.
This was my first marvel legends pick up in like 2 years and I gotta say they killed it with this one, very pleased!

Speaking of confusing the Pentagon Armor for the Extremis Armor... the suit in the box art is the Pentagon Armor. It's funnysad that not even Hasbro can avoid falling into the pitfall of conflating both suits.
To me it's hilarious how the Pentagon armor is confused with extremis because it appeared on the cover of the first issue of the Extremis arc lol

I'm waiting for a proper red and yellow new version of the Neo Classic armor. Between that and the Modular armor, those were the quintessential Iron Man looks for me.

I like the colors on the Terrax release more but everything else is better. Still missing waist articulation tho, they could have easily put a ball joint there.

Aren't you going to make the modification to expand the movement of the torso? You separate the chest with heat and with Dremel you widen the front so that instead of the base having the shape of a circle, it has the shape of a pear, and thus the range towards the front is better. If you don't have a dremel with a cutter and with a lot of pulse and courage, I did mine that way.
This figure woulda been insane if it had the diaphram and ab crunch joint combo like they have been doing lately.

With the power of ms paint I've determined that painting the eyes white makes this figure 100% better.

Great review. I have a question which Captain America figure should I get? The 20th Anniversary Retro version or 2023 Puff Adder version? Not just in quality wise, but I would love to get that Iron Man figure and I want to know which Cap is more fitting in comparison when they are standing next to that Iron Man figure. I’m not so sure.

Did I miss it? Where is the “superhero landing pose”? Box art showed it..can the actual figure do it?
It's a pain to keep messing with the shoulder pads on this figure but I'm not sure The Ring style would be better at all. The first movie armour has The rings and I always feel like I'm going to break The arms when I move them as the rings right against the movement.

Because if they can't tell the difference between the 2 they might never make the Pentagon armor (my favorite)
