I can only echo the rest of the comments. No mess, just what I needed to hear, one 6mm allen key later and the door shuts easily again and there is no 1mm gap at the top. Thank you!

Hi great video can you tell me why my patio door won't lock? When i open the door and lift the handle up i can lock it with the key but when i close it and lift the handle it won't lock any ideas
I think you should open the door before you do that, and also simultaneously push up underneath with your foot to avoid unseating the seals and stripping the screws
Ive attempted this and the door 'does' now close but it STILL catching. There is also resistence now when I go to close the door. I dont know what im doing wrong. Any advice?
Do some of the hinges take the Allen keys from the top? Mine look exactly the same but I can’t get an Allen key in the bottom, when I shine a torch and look up it doesn’t look like it takes an Allen key either. If I pop the white top cover off the hinge there’s a plastic bit that takes an Allen key but it pushes the door in and out not up and down ?
I've got some like that and was wondering about that myself, but after watching a few videos I've just been out and adjusted mine. That bottom hole takes an Allen key, mine is 5mm. It's like a large grub screw where turning it clockwise screws the grubscrew in and pushes the hinge pins, which sit on top of it, up within the hinge - lifting the door. I hope that makes sense & helps. Have fun. 🙂

This just saved me at least £100 getting a builder to do this simple job for me. Top drawer mate.

Thanks for that. Our door needed to be lifted slightly so it would catch first time without the need to lift the handle to use the deadlocks.
Great you tube. My patio door hinges have a grub screw. I dont know whether this is to clamp the adjusting screw or to allow oiling.

Mine is very squeaky, new doors. I've adjusted the hinges but whatever I do one of them always squeaks
