Just like swiatek vs niemeier, this was an unfair first round match up. Kalinskaya could’ve reached at least the 3rd round if she didn’t have to play Collins first.

A large contingent of boisterous americans in this match rooting for Collins and heckling Kalinskaya - who on a number of occasions complained to the chair ump (who didn't seem to give a toss). American fans are just the rudest.

so much for la mona... she still one of the best looking ones in tennis... and has improved a lot.. but collins has much better defined and more powerful game.
