Idk what happened, but I think it looks like a visual glitch. The damage indicator on the left still shoes it has a tail though.

That's how broken the Su-25's damage/flight model is... IT IS FLYING WITHOUT A TAIL AND GRACEFULLY LANDING.

well, the plane flies without a tail = everything is fine. But if it's Ka 50 or Ka 52 without a tail, the timer starts... Very realistic and logical. Bravo!

Hunter I don't know if you'll see this but the F-105D has got individual drops on al 16 of its 750lb bombs right now so it is rightfully deserving of the title "Team wipe master". Take it out for a vid why dont'cha!

About the landing, I think the game didn't consider the tail as lost but the controls of it. You can see in the model that the tail is "clear", and the plane behaved just like you had kept the tail but lost control over it.
It’s more a thing of the instructor just correcting any errors the plane makes so your plane doesn’t spiral out of control, if this was simulator he would’ve probably died but in RB all you need to do is press A and D so your plane doesn’t sway too far left or right
Yes, it feels like it only lost the rudder, I was thinking that the elevator is not exist too .. then how am I able to pitch up\down with only ailerons?! I landed three times in the same situation.
@@Hunter_i86 Yup, that's what lead me to think like that. Losing tour tail should result in a spin or a rock-like fall
@@BentCheeks That's not a thing when you lose an entire section of the fuselage, though. When you really lose the tail, your plane is considered as destroyed and you are forced to J out, or you plane falls like a rock.

What if we set the "Active Target point" as the same button as the "Sight Stabilization " ? So when you press one the other is automatically pressed too!
No need to do that, Sight Stab works for all guided weapons and also CCRP bombing.

Use the keybind for "select target point"
Thats the red square you can see around the aiming reticle.
It basically allows you to guide your missile in 3rd person
I like to use them at long range even if the zoom was zero lol, waiting for a map call or scouted target. Thanks 🙂
What are the differences between the different models of S-25 rockets? I haven't felt a difference in using them.

Russian vehicles depend on the frontal armor and used in aggressive attacking way. They are good in rush, the gun depression and bad reverse made them not really good in sniping hull-down situations.

A10 landed with one wing so this is actual pretty realistic
Losing one wing means you lost one aileron while losing a whole tail means you lost two elevators and rudder.

IRL Su-25 loses vertical stabilizer: instantly enters uncontrolled flight and crashes.
War Thunder Su-25 loses ENTIRE TAIL: Makes a smooth landing by turning into B-2 and somehow maintaining pitch control.
