Things progressed pretty fast in the game once you get the hang of it. Trouble is when you get to the state of an Empire, you start wondering what else there is to do.
Thank you! Ideally, no walls are better looking, but as you've mentioned walls did apply for that time. We are getting hard armour in future updates so I think it is going to have practical application🫢
Super late into playing the game but I’m VERY glad to see that it’s okay if I commit mass deforestation with no consequences (other than the ruined natural habitat of the wild animal’s living within the area) because I sure felt bad when I cut down my first 1000+ logs worth of trees to start a settlement (that I have now abandoned and relocated not far away..) and wasn’t sure if the game would crash or something on me 🤣🤣

Grab a pad of graph papper and plan it out before building, every time you put a field or building down only to remove it sucks. The tax stay even if you remove the structure.

First layout do the roads, then the city outer wall. From there I do the crop fields then houses, etc. Keep everything in blueprint mode and systematically build 1 by 1. So far, roads are only way to pave

You can construct your own bridge of sorts it just takes a little know-how and a lot of ingenuity. But yeah they need to incorporate bridge building into the game.

In regards to the game, if you like building, simulation, open world and exploration, it is a fantastic game. Within the next month or 2 they will be releasing a game changing update which will introduce co op, a new map and a LOT more. So this game should keep you busy for a long long time😊
You cross paths with wolves, bears and also bandits. Badits with ranged weapons pack a punch now after more recent updates. One shot and you are dead🙄 They are looking to incorporate proper medieval armor so fighting will definately become more intense in future.
Future updates of the game are going to introduce heavy armour so we might see something in that line. Otherwise it is bandits and wildlife you fight...
