    Nice purchase that will help make your trip more enjoyable. I usually just use an electric blanket on top of a sleeping bag when it gets cold and turn it on for enough time to feel comfortable.
    Safe travels. I wish you and Parker a memorable adventure and letting me ride along.

    That looks like a great power stations, I have a couple of different brands that I'm testing for a couple of companies, if you have any questions feel free to fire them at me , I have a background with power and spent years working with power, plus I do have some discount codes. It's absolutely correct you don't need a huge power station , just one that works for you. Parker was jealous I think LOL You definitely are getting your car laid out to work for you, I wish I was a tinier guy so I could be more mobile in the back of my truck , but I'm a big guy and I have a BIG dog and a small truck LOL. I am gearing up a diesel heater for overnights will see how that goes. Hope you have a great weekend my friend

    • @ClairenParkerontheRoad
      @ClairenParkerontheRoad  2 месяца назад +1

      Thanks! I'm not sure how they work. Will have to look more into it.

    • @Str8Shooter-
      @Str8Shooter- 2 месяца назад +1

      @@ClairenParkerontheRoadAn invertor isn't going to charge that EBL 330 you have any faster since the fastest it will charge is 60W input anyway.
      But lets say you bought a Bluetti AC 70 or 180. Those power stations can charge as fast as 960 watts on AC. Bluetti also sells an invertor that connects to your car battery and can output 500 watts. Having a nicer power station that outputs 1800 watts to run an induction cooktop or microwave oven and can charge at 500 watts from your battery invertor makes solar panels a waste of money and time for the most part.

    • @ClairenParkerontheRoad
      @ClairenParkerontheRoad  2 месяца назад +1

      @Str8Shooter- wow I had no idea about any of that. There's so much to learn, and it's a good thing!

    • @Str8Shooter-
      @Str8Shooter- 2 месяца назад

      @@ClairenParkerontheRoadThe car cigarette lighter plug you have can put out around 120w, which is still more than your EBL 330 can handle.

    Walmarts were safer pre- pandemic when they were open 24 hours. Then you could park near the employeed vehicles.

    Girl, don't burn the candle at both ends! You drive till 3:30 a.m., then go on and on about your power source on an empty stomach, THEN start cooking. At some time afterwards, your dogs had to be let out, and you needed sleep till almost about noon to be alert for your next round of driving to wherever you're going. And I would suggest don't drive at night. One reason is safety of course. The other is that different states have way worse road conditions than others. Better chance to see potholes at a distance during the day than to happen upon them at night. Be free yes, but be smart about it, too.

    • @ClairenParkerontheRoad

    Cool, I have the same rice cooker. How long does yours take to cook? Mine takes 3 hours...not sure if this is normal. Is yours taking the same?

    • @ClairenParkerontheRoad
      @ClairenParkerontheRoad  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi, mine does not take this long at all, but I am usually just warming up food and not cooking from scratch. The last time I used it I put in room temperature gnochi and when I checked on in after 15 min it was practically hot. Maybe it's a different model? I know there's a couple variants of the brand that look fairly similar. Were you warming food up or starting with something like raw meat?

    • @elyajvlogs
      @elyajvlogs 2 месяца назад +1

      @@ClairenParkerontheRoad I just cook a cup of rice. I remember when I first got it, I'm pretty sure it took a hour and a half but it's been 10 months since then. I cook with it everyday, maybe it's asking for a retirement... I think I need a new one or buy the one that has a house plug in. Thank you for your reply!

      @ClairenParkerontheRoad  2 месяца назад +2

      @elyajvlogs sure no prob. Up to this point I've used it exclusively for heating things up, so that could be why. I will have to try cooking with raw ingredients/foods sometime.
