Really love these videos Coach Mac!! I am just getting into coaching football and these really help. Thank you for taking all the time to put these up on the internet.
If you are in your mix coverage how are you handling a go by number 1 and 2 5 yard outs by 2 and 3. Also what landmarks are you using to determine the out of #2 in a regular 2wr palms situation
I´m currently trying to install somewhat of a splitfield coverage. Can i go with the rule that if the TE is covered, does it make sense (vs power i etc), so have the End stack on the TE and have the End go to the C Gap, and have the left safety come down to the line and either go contain/c or emergency drop into flats? with love and resepect Coach Mahan from Germany
Why play nickel against 21 though? If you are really confident in your safeties playing run support and not missing tackles I could see it being a worthy risk but the offense has its running back 1 on 1 with a safety in the run game and possible a linebacker in the pass game. Those are winning matchups for the offense in my book.
@@CoachMac Hi Coach, this looks like the concept the Chicago bears are using with EJ and TG. Am I correct and what would be the potential weakness using this coverage?

You are welcome. Thanks for watching
coach...do you have a presentation dealing with motion and how you adjust? and how that affects split coverage??

That route concept is tough to defend in Mix. Usually carry other adjustments for coverage beaters
We use the depth of our down safety as the landmark for 2 out
@@CoachMac anything out before type deal?

Certainly you can do that, that is actually the way a lot of 425 teams will play TE sets. Love to see American Football in Germany. Thank You

We really only play one personnel group, goal line packages would be the only difference. Not a lot of sub packages in High School in my opinion.
