Canelo vs Berlanga full recap

First things first, I must see some crows here. I thought this was going to be a cakewalk for Canelo. This was Berlanga's first world championship fight, his first A-class opponent, and his first big stage fight, and he was ready for the moment. There were moments where you could tell he lacked experience, but he did show tremendous heart. He was willing to go out on his shield; I believe Canelo tried to get the stoppage but couldn’t. Now, the question is how Edgar would learn from this experience. There are a lot of big things on the horizon for him. In a valiant effort far from a morale victory, he shook the knockdown off and kept fighting. With much respect, let’s hope he’s not a victim of the Canelo payday and takes a long layoff.
