I think this snapshot could potentially be a test for the next update which I believe could be rather The end update or perhaps a sculk dimension update? I could see a grappling hook working in either update with the end by letting get across the different end islands better or for a sculk dimension perhaps a way of sneaking around the dimension easier? Idk but the poisonous potato April fools snapshot definitely could be a test for things to come

Tbh I think mojang should add the new potato boss the floaters and the potato grappling hook to 1.21 then the update will be a W banger
The mutato deserves more love! Tame it by feeding it taters, and then when you hit something or something hits you your starchy minions will attack it, just like dogs. And with a decent-sized farm you can easily raise a field of mutatoes!
My theory for 1.21 and 1.22 is that the reason the devs stopped adding new 1.21 features is they are releasing it earlier, for the 15th anniversary, and on that day or a bit later they announce the next huge update (end update?) and spend extra time making it so they can make more quality features. It would give them almost half a year more of dev time, and since they are taking updates slower, It may be necessary for a massive update

who knows, maybe next update they'll do the end. for the best three updates they have been working on stuff in the caves and such. wonder what's next? also I wonder what else is coming this update if they have anything else :D
Well.. it seems they were experimenting with floating islands at various heights with 3d biomes in this update.... kinda perfect for an end update don't you think? ;)

The potato DIM is the similar to aether DIM from mod Aether. I think before end update with 1.22 ((1.22 Aether Update),(1.23 End Update))

Hey, have we talked about how the Trial Chambers have been updated to have a working MOJANG DESIGNED 3x3 piston door at the entrance? The fact that we now have a 3x3 piston door in vanilla structures is huge.
For all you technical heads out there. It's a 1 wide design AND works on both bedrock AND java.
