I saw a coment that rods must be wound 2 1/2 times. The hair in the video is about 1 1/2 long . Yes to see a true S patern or spiral cure this is true. This client was looking for just have volume and some lift. In order to get 2 1/2 turns the hair would need to be wrapped on 1/8 " /red rods creating extreamly tight curl pater. not what they were looking for. Question 2 neutralizing on the original blue rod in the vide would give firm curls yes. This is a rod to roller perm . The idea is to get strong base first and then neutralize the perm into desired curl size. It is hard to put large rods in short hair and not have them pot or slip out during process. My grandson watches different “how to videos” & I finally asked him to give me a home perm. A salon cut my hair to short & I found this video on perms for short hair. Since I’m on a fixed income I’ll be able to save money while he watches your videos & helps me look real sex!! Thanks again for you help

SamuraiSakura Redmoon hi , as far as I know the treatment part of olaplex is only available to license salons. It would not be available to buy . The take home products work very well but are not made to be used with chemicals service. Keep looking when you find the stylist that love doing texture I’m sure you will love it!
Heather Dowell lets look at the facts here. The front was burnt the off with curly iron at home. Box color and cut about 1” long with kitchen scissors. Also the client asked for the straight pokey hair to have body not tight curl. If you are looking for tight curls just do a traditional perm with out the rollers.

This video is getting a lot of hate but this is a classic short lady perm. Body with light curl and volume. Easy money all day everyday. Nice work!

Basic small roller set rods probably available at Sally’s . The clip I had to order from over sea’s . I have the clips available $5 + shipping
