Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.

Bu sırada, Karadeniz üzerinden içi köle yüklü bir kadırga, İstanbul’a doğru gelmektedir. Kölelerden en ateşli olanı ise, kaderini değiştirecek olan yolculuğa çıktığının henüz farkında değildir. Geri dönmek için çaresiz bir şekilde isyan etmektedir.
Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

im sorry but i need to say it, hurrem was such a beter mom then Kosem, she fought for any of his kids. She protected them like a lioness, such a Sultana.
Kosem did SO many struggles for her children, for the empire. She had to protect them from powerful Sultanas like Safiye Sultan, Halime Sultan. On the other hand, Hurrem did not really have anyone powerful except Ibrahim, and Ibhrahim always attacked Hurrem not her children. Kosem took sword in her hand to fight her enemies & protect her children. She changed the ancient traditional rule of killing brothers in order to protect her children which was such a revolution. And so many other things like this. Hurrem protected her children too, Kosem did it too. But in comparison, I think it's pretty obvious than Kosem did much bigger things. (And let's not talk about the reign as Valide Sultan as we didn't get to see Hurrem as Valide Sultan for comparison)
but kossem killed her sons for to protect her throne,and she nearly killed his grandson luckily turhan save her son.kosem is more cruel which is i understand her bcz she went thru a lot of struggles

Well in the series he died after all that depression of Mustafa's death. I'm not sure it was the reason in reality but I'm sure he was really close to Mustafa
@@broke_person9664 Actually, IRL Cihangir was not close to Mustafa, that was just more fiction for the show. Cihangir was a toddler when Mustafa left home. Cihanger was close to his father, his mother, and his siblings. He died as a result of his many ailments that he suffered from his entire life. Who knows what medicines he was given through the years that may or may not have led to his death.
The craziest thing I see is people somehow blaming Hurrem for the illnesses that plagued Cihangir throughout his whole life, as if a child can somehow absorb the karma of a parent through osmosis. It's not as if things like this were incredibly common for the time because of lack of known treatments. No, of course not...
The sad thing is people still do. My baby was born with complete cleft lip and palate. There were people accused me for that. They were like you were not careful in your pregnancy.

And to think that we are in the 21st century and there is still no cure for hump and scoliosis. I have the same problem and have worn a plastic corset for 8 years to avoid progression. Scoliosis and the hump will not go away, although it has been so many centuries since this disease was discovered. sad xD

I genuinely believe even in the real occurence, had Shehzade Mehmet servived, he would have been crown prince.
Yes, mustafa was a strong competitor. But considering Hurrem had him executed in the series, and he died similarly irl, it's possible had Mehmet survived, he would have been crowned King.
Of course though, nobody knows what would have happened or if Selim /Beyazid threatened Mehmet if he were alive. Perhaps he got off quite easy due to his untimely death.
But the portrayal of Mehmet has been amazing in the series. I wish history had seen a ruler like him
