I think Mustafa seeing and hearing the cries and torment of Chinger is why Mustafa always loved him.
Even Ibrahim, Hürrem's worst enemy, felt bad about it.
Having gone through something similar in real life, Hurrem (and even Suleiman!) breaking down as they do is entirely realistic. I still can't through the scene of Cihangir's treatment without tearing up after hearing him cry out for the whole time.
Same were my feelings💔
Despite of anything she do, Hurrem really love her children
It's her one redeeming quality, that and her cheekbones.
She only did everything she did to keep her children alive, it is quite sad, if you see her later with Mustafa as an adult, she admits she likes him and wishes he were also her son.
Watching your little baby in pain is probably the parent's worst nightmare. When i was little as Cihangir, my mom had to go out when the doctor pierced my ears so i could wear ear rings. My scream was heard even when she was out of the building. So it can't even imagine how horrible this must have been.
And people wonder why I don't agree with piercing the ears of little children. If the parent has to leave the room for something optional to be done to their child, that is fucked up.
I cried when Sulaiman scream, l feel the pain . When Hurrem hugs tightly to Suleiman, its kind of funny . Sulaiman eyes looks surprised looking to Hatice. He is not used doing that in front of the audience. Hatice just smiles hahahaha. Lol
Come on Suleiman dont be shy, its your family. LOL
Look how little Selim loved Cihangir and how Cihangir turned against him later... It's a pity.
Selim was himself responsible for it
I mean... cause selim was a kid. Mustafa was kind to him too. So was mehmet. But mustafa was the closest to him after adulthood
Selim loved all his brothers but for them he was like the little ugly duck
In thier young age they love each other but when they become old they killing each other
What Mustafa did was "better" because he never had pity with Cihangir, cherished him and saw him on the same level. Disabled people hate pity.@@mariawajahat3613
I have watched this scene almost 10 times.. but every time I cudnt hold my tears seeing that Little Chihangir and Suleymans' excellent acting..
Hatice telling anyone to pull themselves together is funny
She suffered too. She had a miscarriage and lost her baby son. Her husband was executed. You think it wouldn't be over your limits too?
This was a difficult scene to watch. Medical "cures" have often been torture and downright barbaric. We know it didn't cure him, it couldn't, and a wild variety of plants (drugs) were all they had to control the pain without knowing the long-term or addictive effects.
Maybe YOU know now because of our modern times and you also know the history. However, back then this “barbaric” was their only way out and they thought it was going to work (hence they tried it in the first place)
@@naho2724 I know that. I think many times in history medical treatments have been barbaric because they didn't yet fully understand or comprehend the science. Who knows how future generations will look back on our medical treatments? What will they think about our treatments for cancer, such as chemo and radiation, which can be as deadly as the disease? We still now use drugs that long-term effects may not be fully known, etc.
In the history of medicine, this era is the age of intuitive medicine. Most of the management is not of scientific basis. E.g. plague doctors (those wearing a black outfit w/ beak-like mask). It's either in or out. Modern approach in the practice of medicine based on biology and life science related discipline started shaping on the 19th century.
and being with "wild variety of plants" I'm very interested in what they sniffed to induce vomiting
@@naho2724 they gave alcohool to patients because they had no narcosis. But ofc you can't give alcohool to a baby.
Despite what people say, Selim is the original one in the siblings. He has never changed from his childhood until adulthood. He loved Cihangir, he is nonchalant to the throne unlike his brothers. But his brothers aspire to be the Padishah, imcluding Cihangir. Cihangir visualises himself to be warrior-like like Mustafa, if he was free of his hunchback.
True. Bayezid wanted to be sultan too. Most younger siblings wanted to take number-1-child's fate. Excep it's God Himself who chose you, like He did to David, the youngest kid of his father (of course genetic father).
Selim destined to be the Sultan . Cihangir dies. While Mustafa and Beyazid was executed. Mihrimah became powerful like her mom and rule a palace in a province.

Very true the only things about selim was his weakness was to drink he had a good heart he is my favorite
@@mrs.paulschmetz3912 you summed up perfectly 👍
Cihangir was "fortunate" to have been born as a prince. If he were an ordinary citizen, he'd likely have suffered even worse in the absence of "best treatment" available, not to mention he never had to toil hard to earn a bread.
Anyway, everyone's acting is just "spot on" here. Mustafa's look of fear, agony, sympathy and doubts over the vicious method of treatment is just priceless, so is Suleiman's. I can't say anything of Ibrahim, though. 🤣 He seems to be torn in between the desire to "celebrate" because the child is his enemy's, and the somewhat fickle human sympathy remaining in him that urges him to have pity on an innocent thing.
I can feel the torment On Suleiman While seing Cihangir like that , Hearing him cry😭
The very few moments I have empathy for Hürrem and Süleyman.
dude i cried, i can't bear babies pain cries and these tools look like some torture room
Mustafa and Suleiman's faces, Mustafa is trying his best not to look. The machine looks painful
It's so sad that he had to go through that I just want to cry right now
Indeed, even the SULTAN of the world has weakness
Yes Hurrem and her children
Oh I can't stop crying. I feel the sadness of the family.
this was so heartbreaking to watch.
Sad that they ruined in the end relationship between Cihangir and his mother. He loved more Mustafa than Mehmed or Hürrem.
And he hated Selim and Mihrimah. In general Hurrem's children were stupid.
@@Kurczak00 they were not
@@Kurczak00 Mihrimah and selim were smart toe
I mean it’s cause cihangir was intelligent and saw the bad effect that mustafa’s death would have on the dynasty. He was close to mustafa because of mustafa’s personality and love, and knew his mother wanted Mustafa dead.
@@mariawajahat3613 But Mustapha's death did not have any negative impact on the Ottomans
It was thought that hunchbacks could see into the future, because they couldn't look back to the past.
Henry VII had a fool who had a hunchback
Dude .... did they just put that baby on the rack?!!... like, an actual torture device?!?!?!!!
Medical treatments back then were painful for obvious reasons. Imagine getting an abortion or getting a tooth pulled out back in those days. No anesthesia included.
The general idea was to pull the bones apart enough to get them to line back up properly. They had limited tools and I'm sure that seemed like a good idea
I don't think there is greater pain on earth for a parent...I think I could feel Suleyman's pain...
Excellent acting by Superman.
Suleiman...... Superman is something else!
@@Dwrapg🤣🤣🤣
Oh no....
I fell so sad for watching this part....😭😭😭😭
And suliman is cheeky he could not take the painnof changir but could take the pain of killing mustafa wooooowwww
A baby and a full grown man is obviously different.
@@saikikarin320 so ur saying that is a grown man was killed it is not as bad as a baby being killed u dont make swnce they are both human just cuz of age does npt mean they dont suffer the same pain and ce to me wen ur father kills u then speak
@@saikikarin320 also he still killed his own son so he is evil
@@saikikarin320 change my mind
Zakariya Haji what are you talking about of course age matters. The baby was innocent in his eyes and later superman believed his adult son betrayed him. He believed he was doing the right thing putting the empire before his son
When it's obvious that you're not okay and still someone asks if youre okay, that's BS!
What a magnificent acting!
totally nightmare😢😢
They should have sent him to india....yog and ayurved would have helped him immensely...
If only they had known that simply putting him in a full back corset and proper physical re-education during his growth period would have been enough. This looks like torture.
Given limited medical knowledge they were luck they could do anything.
Of course, they had a very limited understanding of the physical body, but I found myself watching and thinking and trying to come up with 16th Century items they could have tried to make a back brace and what exercises they could have used. Poor baby!
Tears 😢😢😢
This part tore my heart and my soul out! 😑
4:00 so sad😭
Is this when Suliman had his stroke
Yes 😢
This song 🥰🥰 like it
Where is valide Sultan in these episode why she not come to see cihangir???
What are they going to do to that poor baby
But the Sultan is colapse when his son during treatment..i thought Hurrem is weak but also Sultan..
They are not weak. The're strong. They only cried bc their little baby is in pain. I've cried too... It's so sad to see...!!
Зур кино манга йокди
Зур ишлаган кинони
Nah. I could not do it.
😞😞😞Dzangir
So what was the treatment exactly ?
Tie both arms and legs with cloth, then turn the wheels to let the body stretch, thats why baby crying loudly. To do this must be careful and slowly, cause baby's bone are soft.
@@T.Apocalypse oh
Is that surgery?
No, it's not. They tie both arms and legs and spin the device. To make the body stretch. That's why he's crying... It's so sad and heartwarming and also heartbreaking to watch! 😖
WHY DID THE SULTANS HAVE HAREMS LIKE THE PROPHET HIMSELF FOLLOWED THE RULE OF ISLAM THAT U CAN ONLY HAVE 4 WIVES WHO IS THE SULTAN TO NPT FOLLOW THAT RULE
You clearly don’t know what a harem is but in Islam it is allowed. He isn’t married to any of them but hurrem their his concubines
Like said previously, the sultan is not breaking the rule because he usually didn't marry his concubine. In Suleyman's case he only married Hürrem.
Because the Quoran says they can.
They are slaves not wives.
What kind of disease he was having?
Hunchback
Drama queen crying infront of her children
Then plotting against thier eldest leaving her ill bany alone
How a horrible mother she was sn actress infront of her children and drama queen
So sad gihangir had such a mother
Mahidevran 's precious comment
She's not being a drama queen, most moms find it very emotionally difficult when their child is in pain, especially when their child is in as much pain as Cihangir. I had scoliosis as a baby and I needed surgery for it and my mom reacted in a similar way to Hurrem because it was difficult for her and yeah she did cry in front of my sibling, so what. Though I don't like Hurrem trying to murder Mustafa, she is justified in the sense of she knows Mustafa would succumb to the pressure from people like his mother to murder Hurrem's children, it's purely in defense of her children.
@@sliverscreencritic she murdered muatafa first ao mahidevran wss protecting muatfa too
