Can you imagine how hard it must be to cast this role. This boy has to be able to act, sing and master so many genres of dance. He has to have great stage presence, and phenomenal stamina.
All the Billy's I've seen have been amazing in terms of dancing and acting ability but I would say that none of the ones I've seen have been as good as Liam vocally. His voice is really good considering he was only about 12 at the time. If he looks after it properly he could have a good future in musicals.
I think Liam dancing is amazing definitely his strongest part of playing Billy... I'd probably say Elliott Hanna was one of the best for overall dance, singing and acting... But Liam was one of the originals... It's an amazing show and all the Billy's and Michaels have been talented kids down the years
I agree, I think Elliots strength was the acting, it's the most alike to Jamie bells original mannerisms ive seen. But Liam mower takes the cake with the dancing
watching this is the theater made me start my ballet, tap and jazz back up i nkow regret stopping as im 15 and am only grade 3 as i started last week after quitting 4 years ago thank you to the people that made this show as it inspired me and other chrildren xx.
It must have been a real treat to see Liam perform; the best of the best Billy's. An amazing talent, as they all are. Awsome show, I hope it lasts for decades.

I love the use of the northern accent because its very easy to over do the accent but this boy does it amazingly well. Also he manges to sustain the accent throughout another hard thing to be able to do. This boy is incredibly talented.

I went to see this show like 10times from Japan. They were amazing and I really missed a this show. Please please play again after the Covid pandemic. I definitely come to see it.

He looks -- and sounds -- as if he's from where the musical is to take place, and none of the new kids, while terrific gymnasts and dancers, have been able to duplicate this look and sound. Liam's definitely the gold standard, and I'm glad it's HIS voice on the cast album. A shame he had to grow up!
Tom Holland was also A good Billy. When I seen ' The Impossible ' I knew right away I'd seen his face in something!! Great actor and roll on his new roll As Spiderman!!

I don't get this audiance however! When ever I see Bill Elliot, the audiance always starts clapping as he's turning. He even gets a standing ovation when he's finished from the people up the back! This audiance just seems to wait till he's finished then cheer. He deserved far more than that! He's just pure perfection! Beyond adjectives!
