We are not pointing out that this dam is worse than other dams. We're just sharing the story behind this particular dam. In the future, we'd love to discuss other dams and what impact they've had on their surroundings.
Putting two and two together is hardest for the political mind. Especially when it comes to allying Nature with the goals of an apex species. In this case it is marrying an end goal of Regenerative Agriculture with the need for Electrical Power. That end goal is the restoration of Earth's hydrological cycles (by greening the most disruptive heat reflectors aka: hot deserts) such that smaller hydropower solutions (e.g. a series of these on the one river) can spread the impact with the least land submerged or be better targeted. The Climate Hysterics add to this failure of imagination and delay the restoration of a Greener planet with each brain fade. Where thought goes to die: politics.
There is no river going to Georgia from Turkey sir ! There are rivers flowing from caucus mountain in Georgia to Turkey, so I don’t know what you are talking about, absolutely rubbish.
Thank you for sharing your perspective on the topic! We're just starting out and really appreciate the feedback. From our perspective saying: 'rivers flowing from mountains in Georgia to Turkey' is the equivalent to saying 'rivers flowing from Georgia to Turkey'. Hence the accidental mix up.
Turkey has no human feelings for the population down stream, Syria, Iraq,Iran... I wonder why the UN/US is silent on this. Are there no rules governing of shared rivers /water?

Why are you so worried for others, do you know how many dams are built in this country of yours! Better talk about them, first, sir !

If perceived in a bubble, the shear scale is impressive. In its context, it seems like a more fragile version of a small China.
It is 200b Turkish Liras, not in dollars. And makes 6b$ something...
