For those wondering... Cm Pentatonic is the starting point... it's not hard, and you can almost be there Bruce showing Clarence what he wanted with his Tele. Excellent work Lennon.
Thanks so much! And exactly, for those wanting to learn the solo, it mainly uses the E♭-major pentatonic scale (same as the C-minor pentatonic scale), so once you are comfortable playing that scale up and down the guitar neck, it becomes easier to locate the notes of the solo by ear. The use of longer notes and repeated notes in this solo makes it a little easier as well.
Thanks! As I wrote in another comment, I learned this solo by ear, so I do not have any tabs for it. The solo is in the key of E♭ major (mostly the major pentatonic scale), with some G♭s thrown in for some added color (mode mixture). If you get comfortable with that scale around the middle of the guitar neck, that will make this solo easier to learn. And to really get the most out of playing this solo, try to find a way to get the notes to sustain. I used a guitar with a Sustainiac pickup, but performing near an amplifier can also help. I hope this helps! Someone else commented that there is a Rocksmith video here on RUclips that might help too. It's worth checking out.

Thank you so much! One of the coolest concert moments in my life was getting to see him perform this live back in 2009! My parents and I were not expecting this song (which is our favorite Bruce song) to be in the setlist, so to hear this as a part of the encore was an incredible experience that I will never forget!
This guitar has a Sustainiac pickup, which directly puts vibration energy onto the strings to make them sustain for as long as you'd like! It's similar to how a violin bow lets a violinist sustain a note until they stop moving the bow on the string. This pickup has 3 modes, which allows me to choose between sustaining the fundamental note, mixing in a harmonic, or only hearing the harmonic (giving a feedback sound without needing to have the guitar next to an amplifier). I highly recommend checking out guitars with a Sustainiac-it is so much fun to use!

I Think the Big Man ( Clarence Clemons ) Would Have Enjoyed That.

Broooooo pls tell me your secrets for sustain like that

@@LennonAshtonNY your phrasing reminds me of David Gilmour, Well done!
