🚨UPDATE🚨
Shipping times:
1. As of August 2024 we are catching up after losing access to our squarespace login/email during our move. This has been fully resolved, but we had to create a new customer support email and are finally getting the last orders out. This goes for several of our products.
2. For new orders between mid July through early August 2024 expect assembly and handling to take 10-15 business days before it ships during this time. Plus the postal shipping time.
3. If your order was late it is likely now on the way.

Yes, we did some tests ourselves and found it to be quieter, but I need to publish the results for others to review. Currently our handles are laying in pieces as part of our Metal Handle project. We are making DIY CNC metal conversion kits that should be ready at the end of may. They will be compatible with this barrel system, but also allow any mic mount system. If you decide to upgrade, use the code MAKEITMETAL20 on our website and we will apply the funds to that project as well as give you a 20% discount. Videos, Discord, etc., are all on the way for that mod.

The issue is trying to get the mic mount off the FX6. The loctite they use is making the screws not budge.
Just seeing this, apologies, we've been out for a week on a shoot. We've noticed that some Sony cams have Loctite and others do not, regardless of the model. It's almost like they're purposely trying to stop 3rd party accessories 😅.
We've found a few ways to deal with this. Drilling is the easiest by far, but you need to be careful for obvious reasons. If you save the threads, it's an M2.5. If not, you can bump it up to an M3 thread.

Hello! I wanted to follow up on mine as well. I saw the other comment and looks like email is still down? I also ordered almost a month ago and wanted to see if mine will be shipped out as well this coming week since the last comment a week ago said the orders would go out in a few days. I am able to get by without it today’s shoot, but hope to have it for future shoots coming up. Can’t wait for the mount!

What is the difference between Rubber and Elastic
In my opinion the rubber is a little easier to work with and quieter if you do more aggressive action shots (rubber grips the mic a touch better). Elastic seems to last longer and is better for low stress environments. The rubber will likely last a very long time, but that's why we send spares and made it an easy size to shop for. Hopefully that helps answer your question? 🤘🏼

Hello! Checking in again on my order I ordered a month ago. I haven’t received any updates or notifications on when it will ship. I don’t know if my emails are going through or not. I was told two weeks ago that ordered were being shipped out that week and I didn’t see anything. Then, saw the other commenter bring up an order and it was said they orders would ship Tuesday this week. Still haven’t received any updates or shipping notification.
Hey! Your order went out today. You should be getting an email from us or our other shipper later today as well (I'll check here shortly ). After our move, we lost track of some login info and got into a huge mess with squarespace/Google workspace but finally got it sorted out. ALL orders will be finally shipped this week unless cancelled. (Which would be completely understandable due to our delay 🤦🏻♂️)

Hey! I sincerely apologize for the massive delay on our part. We moved our shop this past month and during the move fell a couple weeks behind. Due to our delay, we contracted help to fulfill orders and made all of our designs public for personal use. We are FINALLY catching up this week.
