You've really knocked it out of the ball park with this one! Really impressed with the outside habitat, the way you blended patterns and colours inspired by the animal itself: that is top tier design!
I really like the layout of this one. It's a nice feature habitat for sure. Not too big or too small and good views all around. You're really good at making an arid mostly rocky habitat somehow look lush, but as usual the backstage stuff is *chef's kiss*!

Panthera is the genus, so yeah panthera spelaea is the cave lion while panthera atrox is the american lion. Both are from the genus panthera that includes the modern lion, tiger, leopard, jaguar and snow leopard
Ok this Prehistoric Kingdom update centers around Snakes (kinda), well there will be a new enclosure that will be made primarily for snakes (similar to what you see in zoo’s in real life but much bigger), for a new diet, I would add a mouse type (and yeah it’s exactly what it sounds like), and for the only species in this update, I would add the large Ancient Blood Thirsty Serpent itself, Titanoboa.

Cats using boxes and sleeping areas you gave them incorrectly is very realistic.
