I've hit the bottom, I was in the lowest point of my life some years ago, but I overcame it, and I became more powerful than I ever could've hope to be, now I feel pity for those who try to fight me, because I'm impossible for them, I earned the right, the title to overcome.
I've never really been a big fan of Creed, but I have to admit that this song really kicks some serious ass. Maybe this change, I could become a fan.

The demon in me wanted to hurt anyone and everyone from bitter enemies to close friends and family. It showed me mental images of people lying dead and told me to hurt anyone I see. It scared me. Eventually I went to therapy and met shamans and other healers to make sure whatever this thing was stayed dead. Ever since then I've never once encountered that problem again. If one thing doesn't work, try everything.

@N8Dunn3081 Being a good musician is all about putting the best interest of the music first. I am not a guitarist but a drummer, yet I think the same applies to us. I hate playing solos but always try to create interesting rhythms and fills (we write our own songs) that complement what the rest of the band does and I receive a LOT of positive feedback from people I don't know saying I am a great drummer.
In Overcome, the guitars are very effective. Enough proof for badassedness ;-)
