Got a nice collection of Scripto VU lighters. 2, Original Imco 6700 and 1, 6800 Clone. The clone is still a very nice unit but nothing like the original !!

@@fanlighters it's a Chinese copy. It's the reason imco went out of business and are now owned and made by Chinese. Magnet test is good way to find out.
@@deavyhick6803 I am aware that the IMCO company stopped production of lighters in 2012 and sold the patent to a Japanese company. This is a Japanese company that has established the production of IMCO lighters in China. In China, lighters are made of stainless steel, and these lighters do not react to a magnet. And yet you are wrong, this is an original Austrian lighter,a magnet sticks to it.
@@fanlighters this lighter was used as a promo, that's why it "not for sale". Like the chesterfield version, this lighter was Givin away when you purchased something. Still a nice lighter though. You can see the models made by original imco, this one is after 2012.

Congratulations you on a good purchase
Одна из самых любимых моих зажигалок! Моя конца 90-х годов (промо от Честера). До сих пор со мной! Вещь надёжная и "намоленная".😊
Согласен IMCO хорошие зажигалки,простые и надёжные.

Nice replica
You are mistaken this is not a replica, but the original.

@@deavyhick6803 Yes, the lighter was an addition to the purchase. Here I completely agree with you. Thanks for your comments. I wish you good luck.
