In my opinion this is Taylor´s healthiest relationship so far. It´s private but they´re not shy to show support and admiration for one another and that´s how it should be. They´re not giving out any specific inside information just very basic stuff and how they´re enjoying each others company. Travis is handling all the attention and questions very well. This is exactly what Taylor needs, a man who sees her for who she is as Taylor the person, but can acknowledge Taylor the superstar. You can´t separate these 2 part of her if you want to have healthy relationship with her. I´m so glad Travis perfectly knows this balance and is loving Taylor in all her parts.

I could not agree more. It's like Joe was ashamed of Taylor or something the way he would never really comment. This is a person he was in a very committed relationship with and still not even a crumb of admiration. I just dont get why they lasted so long, maybe it just became complacent
Also being private doesn’t really matter in the terms joe wanted everyone to believe he wanted. If the couple chooses not to let the media get to them then it doesn’t matter what the media sees.

My favorite clip of Travis was him standing on the field looking for Taylor in the stands, & the expression on his face when he spotted her, and said " she's right there," was absolutely heart melting! The smile on his face at that moment completely took my breath!

48 yr old Swiftie here, married 27 years! What I've seen and this may be partly because of Joe's parents' occupations in mental health, he was/is extremely quiet, doesn't enjoy the spotlight, and honestly I don't think he could handle the tremendous size of her Fandom. Anytime he was doing an interview, Taylor question asked, boom! He immediately said, not speaking about this. I think that many musicians find greater happiness with athletes. They understand the pressure to always be on, and they understand the craziness of the season. It's so healthy for both of them, Travis and Taylor, to be proud of each other and truly support one another. I don't think I've ever seen her this happy. If they stay the course, I honestly think she found her soul mate. He is secure emotionally and physically and financially. He had his own success long before they started dating. Travis answers questions he wants to answer and isn't jealous when they ask him. Now that's a man proud, secure, ready to face the music, and rock the world together side by side as partners. That's a beautiful thing!

Travis Kelce is one person who appreciates people. When watch his podcast; he never fail to pick up other guys in the NFL even if they are not his teammate. That's his nature; that's just who he is.
As an athlete, he has objective evidence of his hard work and success. Acting is one of the most subjective and personal job fields and is notoriuosly full of people with insecurities. Dating an athlete makes much more sense for Taylor.
With Joe Taylor didn’t leave her home. Not with him or her friends. But notice when she started dating Travis, and even after breaking up with Joe, Taylor was out with her friends having fun.

Joe wa uncomfortable with Taylor’s level of success and was so worried about getting personal recognition in his own right rather than people perceiving that it came from his association from Taylor Swift. I like how Tom Hiddleston wasn’t afraid to show up for her. And we ALL can see that he was a major talent in his own right. He was not bothered by people joking that he would be Mr. Swift. I remember thinking at the time that it was a shame it didn’t work out between them because it was the exact level of confidence and attitude that she needed in a partner. Kelce brings that same level of confidence. He does not feel diminished by her extraordinary success and isn’t afraid of showing everyone that he places her on the same pedestal that we have her on.

I never got the impression that Joe was proud of Taylor at all. Travis is legit proud to share Taylor and be in her spotlight and it shows. You’re right that Travis does a great job of balancing privacy with obvious support of her and her career. His answers also make him seem smart; thoughtful but at the same time quick on his feet. All that said, there’s no need to bash the previous guy. They are no longer together. Time to let it go and move on.

In all fairness, I think Joe is just a much more introverted private person. Travis seems much more outgoing and extroverted- but yeah it could be that she and Travis are more compatible.
As an introvert it's really not the fact that he's reserved it's just the fact that he didn't like her like that lol😂😂he has been out an about so much since the breakup. From the body language, the way she looked so miserable during from the folklore era until the break up, the fact that no one in her circle was a fan unlike how supportive they are with travis.
A little hard to believe the introvert thing: while he is an actor who naturally wants to be seen on the screen by as many as possible (i.e. “success” even as an alleged indie actor); and what’s with his on-screen romance with his lead actress. Her dream was actually to just be a normal woman, wife and mother, not constantly under the spotlight. You cannot conclude that someone is an extrovert or introvert based on what profession they pursue.

Love watching your podcasts. So many are out there with just made up stuff that is click bait. They are super supportive of each other which is great to see.
Lol, I actually get the sourdough metaphor, but he should’ve expanded on it. Making sourdough requires keeping a starter that you have to feed and keep alive- you take from and add to it to get the best results. There’s chemistry and precision. It’s about being patient with the process and making adjustments and tweaks along the way to eventually yield something wonderful. The starter is like the well of inspiration that you pull from and use as a base to build something that can actually be consumed and admired.
Joe : introverted, cerebral, boring, maybe appealing to TS after the great cancelling. I don’t think he’s evil but he wasn’t able to adapt to her needs and didn’t have the emotional intelligence to see that his cool demeanour reads as disinterest. Whereas Travis : extroverted, physical, gets energised through new people and experiences. Enthusiastic about being part of greatness. You will often hear the Chiefs telling each other to “be you” meaning “you are Great”. So I think he brings that culture into this relationship and she is thriving around that energy. Poor Joe has that naturally British sort of gloominess. It was never going to work forever. It’s not his fault except that he wasn’t able or willing to change.

What I love is that, throughout her career, Taylor has shown a pattern of falling *hard*, and many of her previous relationships have ended because her partner either couldn’t or wouldn’t match that energy (Dear John, Begin Again, All You Had To Do Was Stay, High Infidelity, and now You’re Losing Me Are all about different relationships and different situations but touch on the same problem), but Travis *is*. He seems to have fallen just as hard for her as she has for him, and he’s putting his money where his mouth is to show it

Joe is such a loser. Over those 6 yrs, there’s none or very few pics of the two together. It’s like he kept her in the dark. I feel he was jealous of her success and never wanted to acknowledge it. Now Travis and Taylor is sooooooo different. They’re outgoing, embrace each other, and talk about what they’re doing.. I agree with you. But these men are totally different types. Travis the media professional and used to play in front of huge audiences and on the other hand the calm actor who doesn’t really like interviews and answers only questions about his job. I don’t think that Joe got any media training at all. I don’t like that Swifties still post pictures of him. Their relationship ended officially last year and we have to respect that.
In my opinion they have been in rough sea since 2021. Even the album Lover is full of insecurities from Taylor. Listening to this album is bagging for love in my ears. He said in an interview in 2022 he didn’t want to continue songwriting with her. What really happened between them we will never know. Travis relationship ended, because he didn’t want to marry his ex because he didn’t love her that much. His dad gave an interview about it. Maybe Joe had the same with Taylor?! Sometimes it doesn’t match and you have to move on. 🤷♀️

I don’t feel like Travis is super relaxed talking about the relationship yet. I think his feelings for her are real. But he seems a little guarded and reserved, compared to his usual big personality. Kylie Kelce was also not carried away when talking about Taylor on the Today Show or GMA. Kind of, “You’re asking me about Taylor, really? It’s not completely comfortable” kinda vibes, and limiting her answer to Travis’ happiness while not saying anything at all about Taylor. I hope for all of them that maybe the hubbub dies down a bit… not their individual success, they’re crushing it, but all the relationship focus. I think we are all so starved for something happy and good and wholesome and hopeful on the loud angry internet, and they’re both naturally likable, but a fire needs oxygen to burn and we (their fans) and the media are not giving them a lot of space.

People who do not like TS are almost always envious of her qualities, her beauty, her talent, the depth of her lyrics. They are soft yet strong for each other. They know how to let each other shine at the appropriate time without taking the spotlight away. This is how ANY healthy relationship is supposed to be. Other than in songs, when did Taylor ever talk and gush about Joe in interviews??? Taylor herself never wants to talk about her dating life in interviews, but people criticize Joe for not doing that? Hypocritical. Travis gushes about Taylor because that's who he is. People are different. Travis LOVES attention, so of course he's going to love being seen with Taylor and talking about her. That doesn't make Joe a bad person who didn't love Taylor.
Travis Kelce is someone who is not afraid to celebrate others. He does it on his podcast when he speaks about other players in the NFL. Kelce gets attention; he is good at what he does. He is charismatic, he is handsome, he looks good, he is going to get a lot of attention. He gets our attention; that's why we watch the NFL. Their qualities and personalities mesh very well, and they have a lot of of common interests and goals to relate to each other well, but also different enough to keep the relationship healthy. They're both at the top of their respective games (remember, he was featured-guest-on-SNL famous long before the two started dating), driven to succeed in their careers and in life, with a deep belief in giving to those in need, and a strong sense of family.
I don't see any indication of anything less than a genuine love for each other - a love that probably would have happened even if they both weren't so massively famous.
I'm trying to find cracks in the relationship, but I can't detect anything. And while I refuse to get emotionally invested in their relationship, I'm still really rooting for these two.

I listen an interview with Taylor Swift and she does not like to hide her relationship. It makes her feel like she is a fugitive. The relationship she had with Joe was not health. You must be able to be yourself at all times. I believe she was suffocating in this relationship. We must allow people to be themselves and not suppress who they are.

Travis seems amazing when you compare it with Joe because of the obvious reasons. So we are all so excited now. It also seems like Taylor is love bombed right now, living in the moment all in with Travis. But after knowing how Travis treated his exes I changed my opinion on him. The dude was five years with his less economically advantaged black ex girlfriend and he clearly didn't treated like he treats Taylor, he was damn cheap and seems like he made her 'earn' his love and he wouldn't spend money on her even though he was rich... Now he does that because he wants to earn a billionaire megastar. And I'm not saying Taylor is just that or that he doesn't see her lots of qualities. I'm saying if Taylor suddenly had a massive campaign aganst her and she became less rich than him and, I am sure Travis wouldn't be treating her like the queen she is. I wish I was wrong but I think Taylor sees him as endgame because he is love bombing her and she is tired and more than ready to marry and have kids. And I hope she gets a rock soid prenup at least. First of all, I love your TS podcast! Keep up the great work! I do think that this is a little unfair of a comparison, though, given Joe was from England, and Travis is used to fielding interviews all of the time with his American football career. Also, the timing is very different. TNT are in the honeymoon phase. Back when her and Joe started, her public life was different. It’s what she probably needed then. And she stayed for 6 years! It’s great to see Taylor so happy in public now, but I do hope Travis is mature enough now to handle this beautiful gift he’s been given. 🤞
thank you so much for listening! totally agree that the timing is different and that joe seemed to be exactly what taylor needed at the start of their relationship. my overall point is that the way they answer questions about her is very different and i'm loving how travis is handling all of it so far! it made me realize that there are ways to sound supportive and excited about the relationship while still keeping the personal details private
They've passed the honeymoon phase. It's been 10 months. And let's face it none of her honeymoon phases looked this healthy and happy. This is the healthiest relationship she's been in despite being the most challenging with all the hate, long distance and busy schedules and the scrutiny they get. Like from rep you can tell their relationship was toxic from the jump. She felt like she owed him for sticking by her and she put him on a pedestal too much and it felt like she was putting in more effort in the relationship
I never thought Joe cared for Taylor. He was using her. He never really said anything positive or loving about her. Travis and Taylor are an open and loving couple. We all see it.

It feels like he minimised her accomplishments and compared them to baking. I understand that for Taylor, writing and singing are her super talents, and they are going to be good at the end of even the most random of writing sessions. That said, as a talented person, people think that just because you have talent, what you do is simple. It's easy. I think its about joe and taylor having different levels of fame. I think joe didnt want to be known as taylor swifts bf and that's why he downgraded questions about her and tried to keep things private, even tho it was his choice to date a very famous person. Joe's career hasn't been huge if were being honest, not dissing him at all. I think when you date someone famous and you're still trying to make your start it can create insecurity and resentment when you're known for being the partner to a famous person and not for yourself. Joe wasn't right for her. Travis has a name, so hes not trying to get his name out there. And for that theres no weird insecurity between him and Taylor.
