I thought the Casserole Incident was going to be a horrific description of being nuked in the microwave by Gordon Freeman. That you'd go as far to describe in every vivid detail as the seconds felt like hours the pain inscrutable. As you were ruined. Your ingredients erupting from you. With only the ire of a silent, yet perceivably psychopathic presence forcing its gaze down upon you. Unable, as a casserole. To understand the pure waste and wanton destruction being wrot this day. Know your purpose and lifes dreams were to go unfulfilled. In your final moments before the indomitable pressures around you force your very being to burst you let out one last gasping dispation of air pressures in that asking: "Why?". Your final glimpse of this world before entering oblivion are hallucinated memories. Imagining the moments you'd have spent with your creator The loving Dr. Magnusson.
I feel that, in a way, Jeff had it better off than Headcrab Zombies. At least he lost what little of himself remained so that by the time you find him he's mostly a husk. The Headcrab Zombies are still aware, and have consciousness in there, trapped inside their own bodies.
Jeff's "mouth-head" is clearly made of a fungus-like material. It most likely replaced the brain as you can't see it, therefore he is at least braindead. Though it is likely it also replaced every vital organ@@IkeFanBoy64
when i realized you could do it in half life 1 i inmediately started a new game and spammed the use button on the microwave until the damn thing exploded
I remember in HL1 that zombies kneel over their victims and pull flesh towards their stomach, but I've never seen anyone talk about it. I just assumed the split open chest and stomach is to allow for putting things inside the hosts stomach(?) and it regurgitates it up to the headcrab to feed on. Just one more awful thing added to the zombie experience x)
What I still fear the most in Half-Life is the barnacles. They are so disgustingly gross that really makes me sick and freak out. In Opposing Force, I even mistook one of their tongues as a rope.
Any kind of transfiguration seemed horrifying, even into becoming a soldier, since you'd underdo all those horrific surgeries and have your memories wiped, deleting who you once were. Yet the Combine somehow convinced the Metrocops that it was a good thing. After watching this though, the combined torture of becoming a headcrab zombie and being stuck in decaying waste would have to get my vote. You're in never-ending agony and you're glued in one place, maybe nobody will ever find you or even consider putting you out your misery since you're no threat to them.
Entropy zero 2 makes transhumanism less scary and fucked up since Bad Cop is always cracking jokes and one liners and seems to relish being a Combine Elite way more than he did being a Metrocop even though ik the mod isn’t canon lol
@@Skyrionn Yeah, just kill the aliens and the bad guys with all the cool weapons, solve some puzzle here and there, and roll credits. The Combine has to be the most horrific antagonist I've ever seen in fiction, and what makes it even worse is that there could totally be something like it out there (or in some other dimension).
@@durkhurker6268 imagine having 20 years of experience as a black mesa scientist just to have your meal ruined by a dude's first day who went to the gun academy instead of the institute of technology
I think the scariest part of half-life 2 is how alike the stalkers and overwatch soldiers actually are, both have their memories and emotions wiped and are painfully modified to fit their role, with absolutely zero free will, the only real differences between your average foot soldier and a stalker is how advanced their modifications are, the combine truly viewed humanity as a means to an end no matter how subservient they were.
Addendum to Arnie and the casserole story: When Freeman returns after 20 years he finds and for some reason takes with him Arnie's most prized possession: his beloved garden gnome...
If you think about it, the zombine faith takes a long turn, those people were once metrocops who were forced to battle against there own and kill there own just to live then were slowly turned or promoted into soldiers who have probably experienced many battles and adventures without realizing it cause the combine wipe out memories And a anticlimactic ending being turned into a zombine, and the only concious thing is the empty soul inhabited in the soldier
you forgot to mention the worst part about the Headcrab Zombies. The human were pretty much conscious all the time. Every time you hear it scream is not the headcrab screaming but the human, you can even hear "help me" in the scream sometimes
The casserole incident. By far the worst possible fate. Having the excitement and anticipation of a good warm meal taken away from you is truly something no sane soul comes back from... At least without some changes...
In an alternate universe, Doctor Kleiner opts to test the early functionality of the teleportation devices himself but Lamarr got teleported along side him and ends up like Brundlefly.
Pretty sure the combine had already invaded when Chell escaped the first time and it’s assumed that the combine was defeated during her time in the relaxation vault
yeah, north america was implied to be destroyed by the combine and chell comes out in a nice looking area, although they could've meant just the cities were destroyed, the upper peninsula of michigan is incredibly isolated
There's a video by Daryl Talks Games called "Stories That Use Time To Hurt You", it perfectly explains and puts into perspective just how horrible of a fate Stasis truly is
Jeff’s death reminds me of Wallace Jenkins death in Halo, Jenkins had control for the rest of his painful life but not full control over the infection form stuck in his body
I really do belive that half-life really is one of the worst ever games you could ever live in. Not only is the world is horrid and barren but the threats and terrifying ways to die make it worse, but nothing comes close to any of the fates displayed in this video. Thank you skyrionn for these exelent videos
Looking out of the video for a sec and seeing "The Casserole Incident" made me laugh so bad. Mostly a serious video about the horrors of the Half Life universe and then poor Magnusson having his casserole destroyed makes the list lmao.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention that the audio files from the screaming headcrab zombies are human, indicating they are alive. I might have missed it though….
I think the first one is implying existence erasure, to be destroyed in an impossible way makes me think about the second law of thermodynamics, nothing is created or destroyed, only transformed, but somehow they found a way to completely erase a mf
@@Skyrionn I don't. Love Laidlaw's work but Epistle 3 was incredibly meh for me. I prefer where the Alyx team took the timeline. Revenge arc with Eli? Hell yeah.
The casserole incident is gotta be the most tragic one Since you can't eat anything anymore because combines fucked the food and drinks in earth Edit: also Jeff's fate is kind of similar to the chompers from darkwood both are mushroom/spore related infection and skulls splited open and used as mouths
There's so much more lore about the combine that you didn't even cover IMO. Humans being made into combine soldiers, civilians living under the police state/suppression field, the implied torture chambers everywhere lol
Hey, man! Great video! I heavily enjoyed the introduction, not too drawn out while giving necessary context. I noticed the variety in music as well; phenomenal job as always! I chuckled to myself when I saw the casserole bit. I like that bit of humor in videos with dark topics like this one. Keep up the great work!
The first fate sounds like a black hole rather than radiation poisoning. Destroyed in every way means energetically as well, energy never disappears - but in a black hole it’s presumed that even energy is just completely taken away from existence.
I think the zombies are the worst, not only are you conscious and suffering pain that would normally cause someone to faint but I imagine having a headcrab over your face restricts senses like breathing, smelling and hearing etc. I imagine it gets a little better when the headcrab merges with it's host when it becomes a gonome which which the wiki doesn't say anything about the host still being alive or not but I'd assume they are. If your unfortunate enough to not be killed the final stage seems to be a gonarch and I assume the host finally dies but i wouldn't be surprised if not.
i like how u are the only youtuber who posts activley about hl.Thank u for everything hl is my fav game!PS:ur content is great and i see u are really putting work in these videos, keep posting
8:31 assuming Chell didn’t wake up thousands of years after Portal 1 and did wake up in the combine era, she’d also be completely alone. Alyx crossing out North America on her globe suggests that it’s either abandoned or completely taken over by either the combine or xen wildlife
I always Imagine how cool living in the half life universe would be but with little thinking I realised that would be horrible if you're not Gordon Freeman.
I wonder if Combine has ability to extract souls of living being and doing something with it. Imagine getting tortured eternally without any way to escape. Truly terrifying.
11:48 this is why you carry a knife if you arent living in combine controlled territory (well the entire earth is technically combine controlled), you cut the tongue.
‘Oh, and Freeman! If you pull this off, I might just forgive you for that debacle at Black Mesa. You know the one I mean - involving a certain microwave casserole.’ At least my man finally got to terms with his fate
Fantastic video as always. Kinda surprised you didn't mention that one scene in Opposing Force where a scientist gets kidnapped by a Shock Tropper. BTW can I ask you something?
I got 2 questions: 1) a question related to your video about the cut slideshow from HL2. More specifically the thumbnail. When it was first released the thumbnail read "SLIDESHOW" if Im not wrong. Now it just reads "CUT", which makes it a tiny bit inconsistent with the other thumbnails. Why did you change that and will you consider changing it back? 2) I like the addition of subtitles. Will you eventually add them to all of your older videos?
Sure. 1) The video didn't perform too well and I though people may relate the word "Slideshow" as not too interesting. I rarely change thumbnails after they've posted but I just wanted to show off this cut Half-Life media. I may change it back at some point though if it's noticeably different to the other thumbnails. 2) I'm glad they're making a difference. I may do. I've added them to the last few months of videos. Is that something you'd like to see on all of them?
I wonder, are there any su*cidal victims in HL universe? Imagine walking in a C17 block, you hear a wail of a citizen witnessing a hanged and bloated corpse of another fellow, clearly been stressed by the pressures of the Combine. Not trying to entice the appeal of self-harm, but *imagine;* such a grotesque scene, hiding in an unintentional pathway, found only through pure exploratory curiosity of theoretically expansive map. Some games need that kind of reality check.
I have recently gotten The Orange Box for Xbox and played HL2 for the first time in 15 years. Now I am binge watching vidoe essays lile yours about this wonderful game! Thank you so much!
Y'know, sometimes whenever I am making drawings or making stuff on Gmod, i put on these kind of videos it really sets the mood for some reason and i really enjoy lore explaining videos i am really glad i had found this channel
I think in the first situation, he’s implying to Gordon that he will be killed in every variation of reality. As in, he will be killed in infinite universes, not that he will be tortured. The line about being killed in impossible ways supports this, because other universes could theoretically have different physics
4:14 this get's sadder if you consider the cancelled game where you controll adrian sheppard and kill headcrabs in ravenholm, while father grigori injects headcrab blood on himself just to turn into a monster at the end
I think becomeing a headcrap zombie is the worst way to go becaus you're slowle becoming a gonome; having that headcrap on your head sondenly become 2x the size it was, and (I belive it can happen) living long enoght to become a gonarch.
The fact that there are things considered "worse than deaths", actually sends shivers down my spine. There are ways that are worse than death, and what can be worse than that? Well. This video proved it well. Good lord, props to you sir.
In with zombification, slavement, isolation, stasis, stalker transformation or even fatalities there's no other horrible fate than losing ur beloved casserole D:
I don't think Father Grigori deserved his fate. He clearly just wanted to save everyone from an even worse fate that his. Im pretty sure that charpled corpse on the electrical station was just trying to climb the fence but was electrocuted to death. I too would go insane if I was surrounded by tormented souls trying to kill me.
Oh he absolutely did not deserve his fate. He was a strong man with a great morals. He chose to sacrifice his sanity to save those around him. He did deserve a place in this collection just because of how awful it was. Pray for Grigori.
I have a theory for u. Since we know that Portal and TF2 share a universe because of a sapper (I think it's called the AP-Sap, I don't remember), I have thoughts about what would have happened to the mercs in the Half-life time line
4:23 as an electrical engineering student, I disagree. “Being bathed in deadly particles” as well as being destroyed in all possible scenarios encompasses an instantaneous death. A-lot of those involved in the Chernobyl disaster survived, even walking the rubble would expose you to only small amounts of beta / gamma radiation. A total of 30 deaths from radiation poisoning and explosion occurred. A quarter of that of a small commercial airliner for example, nonetheless, 30 undoubtedly too many. I would rather pass away due to the aforementioned circumstances than these mechanically induced ones…
Really nice perspective and honestly I never thought of these things after all these years. I think Father Grigori's and even more Adrian Shepard's fates were the worst because the consciousness is still active, and knowing you can't do anything for a change is just horrible. Stalkers and perhaps zombies are walking vegetables to me. As Always, Amazing Video :) Meanwhile, on 26:00, is this a PC version of Alyx? Where can I find this?
8:09 this is reality for all of us except it’s permanent and reality as well, people build major organisations dedicated to helping people believe that there is something beyond themselves essentially. And when people say “they’re in peace” it’s technically true. To put it simply, when you cannot process the X axis of existence (time) there will be nothing whatsoever to experience, across all senses.
Your videos are epic and so beautifully made! I can tell how many hours you put in to create such epic content!!! Thank you so much!!! Made a hard time easier for me, it's easy to escape in your videos.
Thank you! I really appreciate your good vibes and it will lol especially cause i don't have to worry about half life terrible fates! Seriously though I just count it having too because life is up and down and the up has to come up sooner or later. In the meantime I am grateful to you and look forward to enjoying your work when things are going great too!
Dude... he wasn't referring to radiation death. He was reffering to being sucked into a singularity, or a black hole Esentially by what he means "impossible" is that black holes destroy information. They supercompact it, and even light cannot escape it. It is thought that it is impossible to destroy information in this universe - that's the only thing that exists even if you get absolutely vaporized Except if you get in a black hole. And considering this would be a small black hole, not a supermassive one - you would be dead faster than light, meaning your neurons wouldn't even reach the pain center before you were completely obliterated, so no Though i do agree the thought of your INFORMATION being essentially wiped out from the universe is a terrifying thought.
There's even a theory, that if you somehow get into a the nearest black hole to us (as in Earth) - you would be able to see the entire history of Earth and the universe up until you're sucked into the singularity, since all that light sucked up would reflect it back to you. Assuming you survive beyond or near the edge of the event horizon.
What truly is the worst fate?

Magnusson.
I loved reading this.
@@Skyrionn Same... It was too funny
You may rest now, for here I bring you my like. Farewell, Apostate of Casseroles.
Beautiful
I feel that, in a way, Jeff had it better off than Headcrab Zombies. At least he lost what little of himself remained so that by the time you find him he's mostly a husk. The Headcrab Zombies are still aware, and have consciousness in there, trapped inside their own bodies.
Yeah, I think it's probably a safe assumption that Jeff died a long time ago. I imagine it similar to the feral ghouls from fallout.
Jeff's "mouth-head" is clearly made of a fungus-like material. It most likely replaced the brain as you can't see it, therefore he is at least braindead. Though it is likely it also replaced every vital organ@@IkeFanBoy64
Just gotta love how the nuked casserole is not only canon in this story, but caused by Gordon himself (for some reason), lmao
He's the true villain of the story
when i realized you could do it in half life 1 i inmediately started a new game and spammed the use button on the microwave until the damn thing exploded
When I first played HL2 when i was young, i cried when i had to leave Grigori behind because of how lonely he was. Even today, it's really sad.
HOW TO LOSE ALL YOUR FAT IN SOME UNCONFORTABLE STEPS
Yeah, their exposed ribs also look a lot like like teeth.
Imagine surviving 20+ years just to die to a barnacle
What I still fear the most in Half-Life is the barnacles. They are so disgustingly gross that really makes me sick and freak out. In Opposing Force, I even mistook one of their tongues as a rope.
I can't believe a casserole is higher than literal radiation poisoning 😭
Any kind of transfiguration seemed horrifying, even into becoming a soldier, since you'd underdo all those horrific surgeries and have your memories wiped, deleting who you once were. Yet the Combine somehow convinced the Metrocops that it was a good thing.
After watching this though, the combined torture of becoming a headcrab zombie and being stuck in decaying waste would have to get my vote. You're in never-ending agony and you're glued in one place, maybe nobody will ever find you or even consider putting you out your misery since you're no threat to them.
I always thought the Stalker was the worst fate. But having taken a deeper look into the universe, there are SO MANY more
Similar to kapos in the holocaust I guess. A loaf of bread makes a good bribe when you are starving.
Entropy zero 2 makes transhumanism less scary and fucked up since Bad Cop is always cracking jokes and one liners and seems to relish being a Combine Elite way more than he did being a Metrocop even though ik the mod isn’t canon lol
I played those games as a kid and the sheer amount of nightmare fuel they contain completely flew over my head.
It's just those small details that you don't really notice isn't it. You're more focused on your quest and the horror is the backdrop.
Same, I just treat this as another shooter game back in 2004 with Half Life 2. The terror sets in once you look at the story in a deeper level.
the casserole must've been a nightmare

@@brianery are you referring to Gordon? hes a scientist, he has a phd in theoretical physics
Addendum to Arnie and the casserole story:
When Freeman returns after 20 years he finds and for some reason takes with him Arnie's most prized possession: his beloved garden gnome...
Gordon is just a menace.
@@Skyrionn meanwhile 3650: "What... am I not a menace??"
I know a fate worse than anything, it is simple yet horrific. After death hearing the words; "depart from me, i never knew you."
If you think about it, the zombine faith takes a long turn, those people were once metrocops who were forced to battle against there own and kill there own just to live
then were slowly turned or promoted into soldiers who have probably experienced many battles and adventures without realizing it cause the combine wipe out memories
And a anticlimactic ending being turned into a zombine, and the only concious thing is the empty soul inhabited in the soldier
video: about the terrible fates in the half life universe
the video's first frame: Pick up that can
😂 😂
you forgot to mention the worst part about the Headcrab Zombies.
Headcrab zombie? No.
Permanent stasis? No.
*Gordon Freeman nukes your microwave casserole.*
Truly one of the worst fates of all time.
There's a video by Daryl Talks Games called "Stories That Use Time To Hurt You", it perfectly explains and puts into perspective just how horrible of a fate Stasis truly is
I'm gonna have to look that up!
i feel that's why Larry has the Spiked hat. to hurt any barnacles trying to eat him
Jeff’s death reminds me of Wallace Jenkins death in Halo, Jenkins had control for the rest of his painful life but not full control over the infection form stuck in his body
Love the quote at beginning. Also just noticed that the microwave has a "head crab" button
Gonna have to look at the microwave again
Sustenance!
I really do belive that half-life really is one of the worst ever games you could ever live in. Not only is the world is horrid and barren but the threats and terrifying ways to die make it worse, but nothing comes close to any of the fates displayed in this video.
Thank you skyrionn for these exelent videos
I'm sure there are many more fates too. I'm gonna explore more. It's a scary world. Thanks for watching!

Looking out of the video for a sec and seeing "The Casserole Incident" made me laugh so bad. Mostly a serious video about the horrors of the Half Life universe and then poor Magnusson having his casserole destroyed makes the list lmao.
Half-Life fans waiting an eternity on a contuation and ending of the game is one fate I wish on no one.
Truly the worst fate
I’m surprised you didn’t mention that the audio files from the screaming headcrab zombies are human, indicating they are alive. I might have missed it though….
He did acknowledge that they are still sentient, didnt mention the audio.
I think the first one is implying existence erasure, to be destroyed in an impossible way makes me think about the second law of thermodynamics, nothing is created or destroyed, only transformed, but somehow they found a way to completely erase a mf
Oof, that ending. Yeah, it is a certain type of pain never getting that closure. Although it does set you up for life, sometimes you never do.
I pray one day we get some sort of closure. Until then, I'll accept Epistle 3 as the end.
@@Skyrionn I don't. Love Laidlaw's work but Epistle 3 was incredibly meh for me. I prefer where the Alyx team took the timeline. Revenge arc with Eli? Hell yeah.
It's interesting that the stalker masks are shaped as the ones you see in horses, blocking their peripheral vision.
The casserole incident is gotta be the most tragic one Since you can't eat anything anymore because combines fucked the food and drinks in earth
Edit: also Jeff's fate is kind of similar to the chompers from darkwood both are mushroom/spore related infection and skulls splited open and used as mouths
Glad you enjoyed it!
The worst fate of living in the HL universe? Just existing! All outcomes lead to nightmares and a horrifying existence...
I always Imagine how cool living in the half life universe would be but with little thinking I realised that would be horrible if you're not Gordon Freeman.
honestly, anything would be better than 2020+
Ikr. If we entered, we'd probably be eaten by a barnacle or turned into a Stalker
i'd argue it's also pretty terrible if you are
I wonder if Combine has ability to extract souls of living being and doing something with it. Imagine getting tortured eternally without any way to escape. Truly terrifying.
Goddamn that's some 40k shit
Considering psychic powers are a thing due to the advisors, its plausible
I imagine though the soul would need to have some sort of use. The combine more focus on practicality with what they do.
I doubt it.
Everyone can agree that the casserole incident is the worst… Jeff got nothing on it
Nothing at all
11:48 this is why you carry a knife if you arent living in combine controlled territory (well the entire earth is technically combine controlled), you cut the tongue.
100%
I have never played half-life but this video makes me want to play it! Excellent work!
you should play it, even if fps games is your cup of tea the atmosphere is absolutely insane
‘Oh, and Freeman! If you pull this off, I might just forgive you for that debacle at Black Mesa. You know the one I mean - involving a certain microwave casserole.’
At least my man finally got to terms with his fate
Fantastic video as always. Kinda surprised you didn't mention that one scene in Opposing Force where a scientist gets kidnapped by a Shock Tropper. BTW can I ask you something?
Thanks for watching! You can ask anything!
I got 2 questions:
1) a question related to your video about the cut slideshow from HL2.
Yes, i really do
Wholesome moment
As again skyrrion a amazing video👏 . But a question do you take viewer suggestions about games to cover?
Thanks for watching them ☺
Absolutely!
14:24 so the German Pickelhaube is finally useful again after Over 100 years.
I think you can find in HL2 EP 2 one victim
The casserole incident is easily the worst fate out of all of them.
100%
I have recently gotten The Orange Box for Xbox and played HL2 for the first time in 15 years. Now I am binge watching vidoe essays lile yours about this wonderful game! Thank you so much!
Gordon didn't intentionally ruin Magnusson's casserole. He's a scientist, so he just hit the Head Crab button to see what would happen.
Really interesting video concept and executed extremely well. 10/10 video.
5:00 The cat is a referernce to the old "the fly" with Vincent Price. There is a missing cat, too
Y'know, sometimes whenever I am making drawings or making stuff on Gmod, i put on these kind of videos
it really sets the mood for some reason and i really enjoy lore explaining videos
i am really glad i had found this channel
Thanks for watching them. I'm glad you found the channel too!
9:06 I like to think that the microwave itself was the reason entire surrounding area of BM had power outages
I think in the first situation, he’s implying to Gordon that he will be killed in every variation of reality. As in, he will be killed in infinite universes, not that he will be tortured. The line about being killed in impossible ways supports this, because other universes could theoretically have different physics
I really want to see what gameplay in HL:2 would be like with Chell
I'd love to see that too
Well there is at least a mod which lets you play with the portal gun. Clouse enough?
Maybe black mesa?
That was a joke haha- wait you actually went?
4:14 this get's sadder if you consider the cancelled game where you controll adrian sheppard and kill headcrabs in ravenholm, while father grigori injects headcrab blood on himself just to turn into a monster at the end
I think becomeing a headcrap zombie is the worst way to go becaus you're slowle becoming a gonome;
having that headcrap on your head sondenly become 2x the size it was, and (I belive it can happen) living long enoght to become a gonarch.
Just sounds gruesome.
Fate worse than death, suffering eternal wait for the release of Half life 3
The fact that there are things considered "worse than deaths", actually sends shivers down my spine.
There are ways that are worse than death, and what can be worse than that? Well. This video proved it well.
Good lord, props to you sir.
In with zombification, slavement, isolation, stasis, stalker transformation or even fatalities there's no other horrible fate than losing ur beloved casserole D:
17:21 That NPC was getting some crazy backshots to his head from that headcrab GOD DAMN
Imagine being a combine soldier and seeing your buddies heads getting caved in by a drunk Scottish man with a pan
Imagine being a combine soldier and dying to an idiot with a shovel from above
As Always, Amazing Video :)
Meanwhile, on 26:00, is this a PC version of Alyx? Where can I find this?
Great comment. Adrian and Grigori did get a raw deal.
Yeah, it's the Half-Life: Alyx NoVR mod. Check them out on Twitter ☺
I imagine the fast zombies hosts are still barely alive, somehow. Just in unimaginable excruciating pain. So they scream like they do.
So your stasis argument is basically "would you rather be asleep or live in hell? Tough choice I know"
Gordon doesn't need to hear all of this - he's a highly trained professional 😂

8:09 this is reality for all of us except it’s permanent and reality as well, people build major organisations dedicated to helping people believe that there is something beyond themselves essentially. And when people say “they’re in peace” it’s technically true. To put it simply, when you cannot process the X axis of existence (time) there will be nothing whatsoever to experience, across all senses.
“Aww man, my casserole is ruined! How could this day get any worse!?”

He was reffering to being sucked into a singularity, or a black hole
Esentially by what he means "impossible" is that black holes destroy information. They supercompact it, and even light cannot escape it. It is thought that it is impossible to destroy information in this universe - that's the only thing that exists even if you get absolutely vaporized
Except if you get in a black hole. And considering this would be a small black hole, not a supermassive one - you would be dead faster than light, meaning your neurons wouldn't even reach the pain center before you were completely obliterated, so no
Though i do agree the thought of your INFORMATION being essentially wiped out from the universe is a terrifying thought.
There's even a theory, that if you somehow get into a the nearest black hole to us (as in Earth) - you would be able to see the entire history of Earth and the universe up until you're sucked into the singularity, since all that light sucked up would reflect it back to you. Assuming you survive beyond or near the edge of the event horizon.
interesting stuff, makes me want to learn more about black holes and such things
I love that the 'worst fate' is just waiting for HL3, even though It'll never happen
gordon doesnt need to hear this, he is a highly trained professional
Surprised you didn'y menmtion the skinless running headcrab zombie.
In my headcanon headcrabs were relased into the serwers by the combine they expected that risistance could form their bases there
That makes sense tbh. We know they used them as bio weapons against Ravenholm. That's my head canon too now
Worst fate in Half-Life history is that einstein that fell from a ladder and nocliped to the backrooms.
i love how all the fates is reasonable and then there's *casserole accident*
Just because you mentioned Half-Life (2+1), you've extended it's development time another 4 years
What if the ending of portal 2 tells us that the Combine was taken of of earth? That huge area Chell is in is completely untouched... interesting
Jeff wasn't there anymore. People controlled by headcrabs? Still veeeery conscious. There is no worse fate in Half-life.
