Note that the Vistalux Super Fixings come with 20mm spacers -- these are not shown or mentioned in the vid. The spacer goes on the underside of the sheet and against the wooden frame. The eaves filler is then pushed into place to fill the gap between the frame and the sheet -- the fixing screws should be at the back of the eaves filler. Hope this is of help.
My experience is that the clear, transparent roofing gets brittle in 2 years and hail will bust it up. The solid color panels last a long time and are very strong..
Your shed looks great! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I built an 8x10 shed for my kids in my backyard earlier this year using plans I got from *WoodBlueprints. Com* Clear directions and an accurate materials list...It was great for a novice builder like myself!
Great video content! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you thought about - *WoodBlueprints. Com* It is an awesome exclusive guide for building better sheds and woodworking without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate at very last got astronomical success with it.?
Agreed, this is left very unclear how all the flashing is supposed to be done. Should the flashing mouldings be screwed through with the main sheets, under the washers? This is difficult to get aligned. But if not, how can they go over the washers? Why are the mouldings a different width to the sheets? Should the mouldings be overlapped, or just abutted?
@@RodGibsonAcousticGuitar ...after googling it: LOCTITE® 3703 is an acrylic adhesive paste, primarily designed for bonding rigid and flexible PVC to polycarbonate (is what Vistalux panels are made of) where large gap filling capabilities (0.25mm) and a flexible joint are desired. Its flexibility enhances the load bearing and shock absorbing characteristics of the bond area.
Fuck that, I am just gonna squeeze some caulking across the tops of all the rafters, maybe silicon where sheets overlap and use minimal screws to hold it down into the caulking.
Don’t buy their screws and those sponges things. It’s ridiculous expensive. They sells screws like those in any hardware and use them spray foam cans. It do a better job but 10 times cheaper.
I've always tried to figure out how to build a shed for my kids. I tried several plans but always got stuck along the way. I'm glad I found this Ryan's shed plans [ Go Here >>> *WoodBlueprints. Com* ]. It has made the work become as easy and simple as I never thought it will be. Thank you Ryan!?

Excellent, clear and professional advice. Very impressive how to fit so much information into such a compact video.
I have had no issues with this. I am starting another project and using blue. It was $7 cheaper a sheet than clear.
Great info ... earned new subscriber 😊

Great vid - what about the spacers you sell with the fixing screws - what are they for?

i love how easy the plans are in *WoodBlueprints. Com* to understand and the step-by-step videos they have. Makes getting material really easy
Would this material survive an icicle dropping on it from ten feet above?
Can the sheets be glued with the same kind of glue used for pvc pipes? This is to patch a hole with an offcut. It doesn't have to be pretty.
would that support the weight of snow?
Snow should slide right off
Good job! Why did you use clear plastic, not white plastic for a parking space?
Why not?
when putting the flashing mouldings in, do you stick them with the butyl tape or leave that hanging?

İ am not allowed to drill the metal and my balcony fram is metal..What should i do?
Use metal sheets and weld it
Given the current weather. DO NOT leave the sheeting in sunlight. when piled up the heat can/will melt them
How can I patch a hole from an impact?
if it's a small hole, you can use silicone. If it's a crack, I'd use some kind of transparent super glue.

kin rettler 1 can spray foam can for $4 will do about $20 feet and work much better.

How does that work? surely spray foam isnt the same shape?
Fireworks and dirty rain ruined my clear roof. I don't recommend this in certain areas
Using too much screws
Why do we need the obnoxious music in the background.
I hate how we were forced to watch it.
