Today is my birthday and I am so sad and disappointed in my life and the fact that at 32 years old I have to no purpose or reason for being. I’m having such a hard time finding a reason for being alive . I’m so angry with G.od for creating me, just to watch me struggle. And feeling guilty for being alive and healthy while others who are more deserving. I know that my sadness and confusion won’t miraculously disappear, but I’m grateful for your reminder that G.od loves me. Even if I can’t see it or feel it right now. Thank you.

      Sweet sweet friend
I hear you : the last 12 months have been a struggle
I urge you to write went well and what went wrong in the last 12 months
I know you will have a tendency to say nothing went right but try to find even the smallest things that went well for you : able to walk, able to breath, a sunset, sunrise
And once you do that look at your list and see the things that you were in control do and you “messed up” and take way all the things you had no control of ( someone who bothers you, a fall, person passing,…)
And try to find in the list you “ messed up “ 1 thing you really want to work on because it is under your control and make a plan to achieve that in baby bite sizes
You will achieve it : I know it and I believe in you
Praying with all my heart the next 12 months will be filled with success happiness and health xoxoxo

Dear friend, Sara is right. Do the things she suggests. And yes, God does love you. The very fact that you saw this video today, of all days, shows that God loves you and will help you in your struggle. I don’t think it is a coincidence. You are alive and healthy, so you could just say a thank you to God for that instead of feeling guilt for it, and it might make you feel better. So after you write what Sara suggests, right after that you could write another thing you are thankful for. You could “create” a purpose for your life. You could choose one daily act of kindness to someone, such as saying hello and smiling to a neighbor or work colleague, or doing something like opening a door for someone old or disabled or someone whose arms are full. A smile can help someone’s day just like this video helped yours. Your “purpose” could be to improve someone’s day with a smile…. Or participating in a charity, such as helping at a food bank. You don’t have to wait to see your purpose, you can “make one”…. ask God to help you and He will. I will pray for you. And happy birthday. May this day make for you a new beginning, much improved over what is now. 💕💕

    • @SusanNachman
      @SusanNachman Год назад +8

Every single person who came to earth has a purpose. I promise you that. It takes some people a while to learn what they really are meant to do. Start with your passion. Share it with others. If you love to crochet, make little baby booties or hats for the neonatal unit at a hospital. If you love books, give an hour to pre-schoolers at a library or community center. What are your strengths? What would you like to learn? How can you connect to people who have a positive mindset? Any place with a high vibration will help....nature, hiking groups, animals, good music, art....and avoid low vibration ones like bars. Trust your gut. Keeping trying till you find your purpose and when you find it, you will know. Much love from me.

That particular Proverb covers our lives as women, wives, mothers, our work and so much more as people. The more I read it, pray it, study, think on it and apply this Proverb to my life the more the word opens up like a the most beautiful rose. Thank you, Sara, for a very helpful video. My husband was an alcoholic, but he loved me, and I loved him. After being his caregiver in the evenings after work for about a year, I lost him to heart failure in 2017. I spent most of my adulthood selfishly and feeling lost. But two years ago, after I retired and moved to a rural town, I got therapy for childhood PTSD and decided to come back to G*d. I feel I've been rescued! I still miss my husband, but going forward - and paying G*d's love forward, I want to help and love others. I've recently started bible study with two other women who are now good friends, and I've made many more friends in my community. I want to read and ponder Proverbs 31 this evening. What matters to me is now is a relationship with G*d. I'm Christian, but I love your videos! You put a lot of love into all of them. Blessings to you and your family. 🙏❤

Happy New Year, my darling Sara and fellow Frummie-Fam! 💖 I pray this coming calendar year be full of blessings for all, peaceful resolutions to conflicts, and wonderful health.
This is such a GREAT way to start this coming year! A Frumie premier with our beloved Sara... definitely starting the year on the RIGHT foot. (Sara, you help us in ways you don't even know. You are a HUGE Blessing!)
Aside from todays premier, I am making my usual big batch of black-eyed peas. (I grew up with the "history" of - black-eyed peas represent wealth - not just $, but everything. So, you basically stuff yourself with black-eyed peas to ensure a fruitful/prosperous year ahead. There's only two actual traditions I've maintained since childhood)
Also, another one: Money in Window/Door. Before midnight on the Eve of New Years, You tuck paper money of any denomination into a door or window (closing it on it to secure it. In "unsafe" places, you can have just a tiny sliver sticking outl. Leave it overnight. When you get up, you DO NOT OPEN the door/window, but just slightly crack it a bit (so you don't rip the $ lol). Now, as you gently and SLOWLY pull it towards you, You focus on your connection with Diety (or Universe, or whatever your belief!), and the fact that you will have all your monetary needs met through the year. Once it's in your hands, tuck it away.
Now, the clincher is: that $ SHOULD be spent by the last day of the year, BUT, it's better to hold on to it til about November/Dec (according to Grandmother, who taught me). That money is to be used for charity or to brighten another person's life in some way. (In other words, not for "selfish" reasons, as in "for self". Caveat of course is: in emergencies)
Anyway... what traditions do you follow?

You know, I have always believed in God but I was not raised in a church. I didn't really get into church and studying and understanding until I was 17. Over the years my growth and training and understanding has helped me understand more than I ever knew. As I get older the challenges that come with age (aches and pains) take my eyes from Him. Your you-tubes have really helped to refocus to His love, creation and teaching. Thank you Sarah. I hope you keep blessing others with your moments.

I hope you study the New Testament at the same time, which was written by Jews about a Jewish son, Yeshua, Jesus, and you will see how the entire "old" testament points to Him, and the new reveals the "old." Yeshua is the manna, the lamb of God. It will all make sense when you see how the entire Bible points to Jesus and the salvation He offers all. Read Isaiah 53, the prophetic message about Yeshua and what He did for us. "But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities..." He is the only one who is God and man, as it says in John chapter One. The WORD was with God and the Word was God...and the WORD became flesh. He did not stop speaking to us for 2000 years. He is speaking to us now, because Yeshua rose from the dead and is at the right hand of the Father. Please read John 14:6 as well. It is clear. Our sins must be washed to enter heaven: “I (Jesus) am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” He is our free gift. He is not religion, but God, 3 in one. Father, son, Holy Spirit. Even the word for God in Hebrew, ElohIM, is the masculine plural word for one God. Invite Jesus' forgiveness and you will feel the love He is longing to give you. There is no longer a barrier of sin when we are forgiven of our sins, and He promises that if we ask, we will receive. (Matthew 7:7) No works required, just FAITH. Faith is everything. God bless you!

I wasn't aware of the 31st proverb. Interestingly, the tips you describe are how I connect with God already. I am stunned, however, that many women I know who claim to be religious have no knowledge of the Old Testament, and are not interested in learning about it. They prefer the New Testament, which they convolute to suit their needs. How sad for them.

As an adult, I pretty much abandoned much, and just did the same. As a 72 year old woman last year, I have made changes and tried to say morning prayers, but a shortened version. Trying to keep up with the Torah portions. You have given me a whole new perspective of my day. I have never gotten to the proverbs, but will now. Happy and healthy new year to you and your family. Hi Sara. Thank you for another great video!!! We are all so grateful for our new little guy and we do let G.od know. We weren’t too sure that it would happen but we will be forever thankful to G.od that he answered our prayers!!! It’s good that there are enough of us to help each other help care for this little guy so his parents do get completely overwhelmed. You are so right about the importance of enough sleep to stay healthy. We have to care for ourselves first or it will be impossible to care for anyone else!! I love the idea of a journal!! It gently makes us stop to think about our thankfulness. Writing it down helps to remember and continues to come to mind throughout the day no matter how busy the day becomes and it has become very busy. It’s been 38 years since we had a baby in the house. In fact the new daddy was the last one 😂. I’m almost 73 years old so I’ve developed a new respect for getting enough sleep!!! 😂. It’s so easy to let life jump in and take over, making it easy to forget how important self care is!! Thank you again for the journal idea!!! I’m definitely starting that today. It will be so helpful in staying focused and a great reference at any time!! I would like to wish my entire frum family a very happy and healthy new year!!! I’m exhausted today so I’m going to practice some self care and take a nap. I love you so much Sara and I’m already looking forward to the next video ❤️❤️❤️
