“I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.”
Jesus Christ is the word of God(Revelation 19:13), therefore these words in 1 Timothy he spoke. In fact God spoke these words also according to 2 Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is breathed out by God….” And 2 Peter 1:20-21 the Holy Spirit produced these words from men. So, basically the entire Triune God produced the words of holy sacred scripture.
“Many will say to me Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, and do mighty works in your name?’ And I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
They think they’re doing Jesus Christ a “service” but in fact they are blaspheming his name. “I only believe the parts about Jesus. Everything else is irrelevant” in their worldview.
If you’re a true Bible believing Christian, you believe the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Including where the Apostle Paul instructs or commands Timothy to prevent a woman from teaching and exercising authority over a man.

@vanessakelly7022 you are correct, but we're not in heaven yet. Until that transformation, GOD HAS an order and it's clearly worded in HIS WORD. not taking anything from anyone. The word submission is often misunderstood it's not rule of authority over someone .
This woman shouldn't even be talking about Proverbs 31 let alone calling her self Pastoring a Church. She's out of order. God's word makes it clear that women can't be pastors. It's a divine position reserved for Men Of God. The first requirement for being a pastor is that; a man must be a husband of one wife... Neither can a man be an ordained a Pastor by a school, seminary, or any other made made establishment. It's a position given only by God.

The Proverbs 31 woman would not have been anything like a female pastor. We can't be in rebellion against God and claim to be Proverbs 31 women.

Smh another woman being DISOBEDIENT to God's Word. You are not a Pastor, you are a rebellious and disobedient woman. If you continue down this path, you will be one of those the Lord tell "...I never knew you depart from me..." REPENT and live in obedience to God's Word.
In the qualifications given for "bishops" (i.e., pastors, elders, shepherds), Paul twice says they must be "the husband of one wife" (1 Tim. 3:2; Titus 1:6). Unless you are willing to accept two lesbians living together and call it a "marriage," there is no way for a woman to be "the husband of one wife."
This is why women aren’t supposed to be pastors according to the Bible.

Why would you use the Passion paraphrase when it does not take into account what the Hebrew actually says? Correct application must derive from accurate interpretation. Your pep talk was disappointing, not being entirely biblical.
She used 2 translations. She gave Hebrew context. She said she's using the passion translation to help make it easier to understand.

Hello there, I like to point out that you are in a dilemma. Firstly the WORD IS A PROPHECY GIVEN TO A KING BY HIS MOTHER. IT IS A PROPHECY AND A VERY POWERFUL ONE AT THAT! NOT SHOUTING JUST EXICTED. THE Word of king Lemuel, the Prophecy that his mother taught him. The Hebrew word --is MASSA, it usually means "A burden or a lifting up, Carrying, --a burden that burns within the heart. This prophecy given to King Lemuel, is written in a poetic form, referred to as an ACROSTIC POAM--This verse PR 31 V1 is describing a prophetic women being covered --In other word this women is complete figure -she's complete in everything she does - she does for her King and NOT MAN OR SELF. She is covered by her obedience to work as a warrior by his side she is full of strength and wisdom.
She is not perfect but rather Complete in all that she needs to get the job done. "Virtuous" has absolutely nothing none whatsoever to do with the HEBREW MEANING. V10 Starts out with saying "Who can find an 'Eshet Chayil her worth is far above rubies...Indeed it is for the Hebrew word Chayil - meaning Strength, Valour, Might, an army, Power, Valliant--the main meaning of the word is POWER! The King is asking "Who can find a Strong, Powerful Warrior Women in his kingdom" Her worth is far more than rubies.
It has NOTHING to do with this REALM it has everything to do with serving the KING OF KINGS And The LORD OF LORDS AND NOT MAN AND HIS IDEAS. SORRY BUT YOU HAVE THE WRONG TEACHING ABOUT THIS GREAT PROPHECH FOR THIS GENERATION!!!
If you search a little dipper you will learn that the word VIRTUOUS first arrived in PROVERBS 31 IN 1599 IN THE GENEVA BIBLE WHICH WAS AMONNG THE MOST FAVOURED ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE IN THE 16TH AND 17TH CENTURY. The Proverbs 31 woman wouldn't of defied scripture and called herself a "pastor." The face that you do disqualifies you from "preaching" on such matters. Sit down and learn IN SILENCE.

You can't work work outside the home by leaving your children to be raised by day cares or someone else. God gave the woman to take care of her family and home. Work when your children are off to school or out of the home.
I am home working ( taking care of my kids) and wisely using and managing our finances. planing to go to work ( out of my home) when the kids go to school. This video is just for me.

Staying home with the children is not a luxury everyone is given. If you can, great. You're privileged. But other women have to work alongside their husband for every dollar they have to keep their home up and running. Trying to paint all women with the same brush is unwise. God did not make us all the same and that's something we should embrace, not blatantly deny.

I'm a Single Mother raising my children and I'm not able to be a Stay at Home Mother. However, I do work part-time so that I can spend more time with my children after they get out of school. It's financially challenging but God is with us and he will not leave nor forsake us!!!

Well, Proverbs 31:3 says to not give your strength to woman. Adam did when Eve took authority from Adam and ate the fruit because she saw it was good. It made her feel good. That was the first account of a man giving his strength to a woman and the fall of man began. Women are not to be pastors or headship over men. Men, be a man and keep your strength.

God didn’t speak these words Himself to someone's idea of a virtuous woman. *Rather, they are words of advice spoken to King Lemuel by his mother as advice to her son*(not to her daughter(s) or to daughters everywhere).
Why does this matter who is saying this? Because those words are nothing more than *ONE WOMAN'S MOTHERLY ADVICE TO HER SON.*
Now........Was this story written to Christians? No.
Proverbs 31 was not written to Christian wives to instruct them in how to “measure up.” It was written for a man to inspire him for what type of woman to look for. (A virtuous woman)
Read in context, the mother is basically telling her son ADVICE.
Can this story apply to every woman? No.....Everyone knows based on parents, beliefs about others, cultures, skin color, traditions, and religious beliefs when it comes to parental marriage advice such as this mother's will vary. A culture, belief or practice is not the Gospel and should not be used in place of teaching others to follow it.

Feminism really doesn’t mix with the Bible
Initially it does. The Proverbs 31 example put family first. She oversees the household. She also bought land, and sold her merchandise. She was a business woman in addition to supporting her family.
Women later had to fight to own property, vote, drive and have employment. Jesus actually was a feminist. The problem is some ignored the support role aspect that is essential in Proverbs 31

I’m your example of proverbs 31 you said family but never mentioned the man. Proverbs 31 is king Lemuel’s mom telling him what a good women for HIM is. You can look nice and groomed without being extra.. you DON'T need to wear make up, costly array, jewelry, plait your hair, wear wigs, paint nails, paint toes and etc.. you chose to do that for personal reasons.. some people paint over their insecurities with makeup.. and put on wigs for lazy reasons of not wanting to comb their hair or simply self hate.. to cover up what they really look like due to low self esteem.. and some people are conceited and crave for attention from others to boost their ego.. following temporal trends thinking it's cool because everyone else is doing it.. while idolizing their selves.. thinking they're a god/goddess looking for worship and praise from others.. seriously.. instead of adding pride and lust to the flesh.. it would be best to humble yourselves before God and seek/ worship him in spirit and truth.. having confidence in him and not yourselves or materialistic things that can vanish away" ..

The conviction. I'm the opposite of the proverbs 31 woman and although I know I'm supposed to never give up, can't help but feel like it's too late, I've already ruined my husband's view of me. Hard to be motivated when you feel like that's the truth and have no community of women in the same or similar position to work with. But I suppose I'm supposed to cast those thoughts aside and proclaim that God is enough. I'll keep trying anyway. Again

I like this interpretation until she calls people junk. God made those LOST people who we are made to minister to.
If women did not possess an infinite capacity for disassociation, the effectiveness of her manipulations would be greatly lessened. if a Woman cannot sell herself a false narrative , she cannot manipulate men into holding her in higher regard. if women got what they deserved rather than what they wanted they could not disassociate. With disassociation she can avoid the consequences for this taking her to the same issue as innocent and chastity. Proverbs 31:10 who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that she shall have no need of worldly things. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. This verse is like finding the magical unicorn. She doesn't exist. However when a society follows the cultural advice laid out by ancient wisdom in which the recklessness of women are constrained, women begin to behave with a godly reverence. God created women to be a completer not a competitor.

First, one of the very first things that is mentioned in the beginning of this passage, is that it is a PROPHECY.
And it s a prophecy that Lemual the King of Israel at the time, his mother taught him…
And every single characteristic that is described about WOMEN in this passage, Lemual’s mother is telling him to embody these virtues AS A KING.
so this is about how Nations who embody this FEMININE characteristic are “LIKE” all these things we find described in this passage.

29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excel them all.
…so lemuals mother here is saying many women have done all these things she has described in the passage …. “ but you excel them all”
Shes not talking about her male son witch is a king, thats some how better at feminine virtues than women are themselves, she speaking about embodying these virtues as a king/ nation and to rule with this as A PART of the whole and to do this as a king/ruler/Nation is to excel over ANY women doing these things ON HER OWN.
So what is the prophecy about….?
How nation’s will be VIEWED who exhibit these kinds of qualities, starting at the top with the King.

Words that applied to a time was nothing and man expected woman do everything in a land of nomads and total ignorance. Is not times before Jesus Christ death but two thousand years after his death and alledgely resurrection. That is things to take in consideration before expecting women be perfect for beyond imperfect spouse.

Maybe it is not a season for you to work outside the home. If your children are school age stay home for now and care for them with their school work, be there when they get home. Also care for your husband treat him well.
Great joy and be wrought from working with ones hands and mind doing something that you love, and its good not to be idle, idle woman become gossipers quickly amd busy bodies. My advice is find something your passionate about and take one step at a time and start your own business or seek out something you love and enjoy if you are to work under others.
