Hi Erika. Yeah, it was a pretty cool airplane. One of my top priorities is to go see the owner again up in Wyoming and do a video that will do his plane justice.
@Thomas Altruda. Not RV based, completely different kit. Actually pretty big. Wished I had a better camera setup at the time. There’s a guy on my field with a radial pits. Really nice, but he never flies it. I’m going to try to get him up and video it.
Ha, good question. We did all line up, then go full throttle. The Radial Rocket left us all behind. I was so disappointed that my camera wasn’t pointed more to the side. So, I’ll definitely have to plan on a redo this spring. Also, I know another guy with a Radial Pits. It looks amazing. He has the same radial engine, but has heating issues. I’m hoping to get a video of him while it’s still cold out, because I don’t think he’ll fly when it warms up One thing for sure, I’ll have my camera adjusted right. Thanks for watching. I sent the guy a message asking what engine he had since I’ve forgotten what he said. Never got a reply. I’ll see him again this summer and ask him. I know it’s not the rotax! Sounds great!

Radial Rocket? I don’t recognize the airframe.. the gear comes right out the bottom of his wing? It’s not RV based, right?
