The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall greet the King and Queen of Swaziland.

- On the 18th of May 2012, Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall hosted a dinner at Buckingham Palace for foreign sovereigns and royalty in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Here the couple greet their guests, Their Majesties the King and one of the Queens of Swaziland.

Queen Tameeka looks very elegant in her African yellow dress.
One suspects HRH The Duchess of Cornwall would curtsy...it was off screen so well never know but we have no reason to think she didnt...
Their greeting was most warm and long !
She must have: the lady in front of her is a queen. One suspects the camera was deliberately unable to catch it. What we do find odd is the P of W not at all doing the usual kiss-kiss hand-kiss. HM the King of Spain is consistent in that.

My understanding is that if you are a prince or duchess and you greet a Sovereign monarch who is King or Queen or Emperor or Empress, protocol is males bow their head and women curtsy.

@@adelgado75 That's unfair as a later video shows them both bow and curtsy to King Letsie of Lesotho. Besides, the future King of England is clearly shown bowing here, so I don't think there's any conspiracy to hide the Camilla's curtsy.

I would think that Camilla had about as much respect for THIS individual as the Queen had for Lyndon Johnson, who was the only US president of her lifetime that she did not meet.

As I said before, in footage taken at the same function, Charles and Camilla are shown treating the King of Lesotho, who is also an African Monarch, with the honour that his dignity accords. .
But Swaziland.... No. I would not bow to this man under any circumstance.. That is not THE Queen of Swaziland. That is just one of about twenty.
