@TaySpazzed You have a point. But we don't know the reason she dropped out. People who drop out don't usually drop out just because they hate studying. She could've been bullied, maybe overwhelmed by her studies and her parents don't seem supportive enough to help out with the latter. There could be many other reasons, it's not always boredom. The fact that she wouldn't get out of her room can also be a sign of mental issues.
the video game punishment was actually good, the kid wanted to play a lot of games so the dad let him, and he realized its not all sunshine and rainbows lol, genius tbh
People pay for rugged survival type vacations all the time. The difference is the girl didn’t want to do that and it was the parents decision to show. She needs to follow their rules and Graduate so she doesn’t end up homeless. Sounds like something you’d see in TV.

True story: In their childhood, a friend of mine and her sister were OBSESSED with eating croissants to the point they would not eat anything else. Their father punished them by buying a gigantic sack full of croissants. They ate them all, but it was the last time they ever craved croissants.
When i was busted smoking a sigaret when i was a kid my grandparents who were my legal guardians made me smoke a cuban sigar. I didn’t learn my lesson cause i smoked on for 15 years now i quit on my own. So I don’t think it’s to harsh from the father.
My grandmother told me that my uncle was punished for smoking when he was a teenager. He was caught smoking and my grandpa punished him by forcing him to smoke a whole pack of cigarettes without stopping until he eventually threw up multiple times
The first one for me is honestly a blessing. The second one for me is a once in a lifetime experience in a good way I wanna be on remote island that sounds so cool.
Too harsh?! Are you kidding me? These are the type of people that have no kids or let their child(ren) have anything they want and take up for them in the wrong.
The longest time I've played a game consecutively without break was 20 hours. Might be different for some people but for me, it gets extremely painful by 17+ hours. The father's punishment is genius, instead of taking the game away, he makes the son get sick of it or at least understand that staying up that long doing a certain task is not pleasant.
Dude the worst punishment was in 2007 a teenager bought the new halo game without the parents permission and when they found out they took it locked it up in a safe and when they found out boy unlocked the safe the game was next to a gun and used it and killing his mom and injuring the dad and left the house making it like a murder suicide but was arrested and is as of now he is still in prison
Video game punishment: Single Video game for 17 hours - total punishment Able to change games in 17 hours - some would say it would be bliss Video games for 17 hours after 1 AM - total punishment in my books
The first punishment happened to me actually. I wanted to play minecraft on a school night and then my mom didnt let me sleep but to play games all night for 3 days . Crazy work
The first punishment is actually Creative. The father lets the son play video games for 17 hours straight because it's EXACTLY what the son wants, therefore finishing his urge to play video. Having playing video game and have to stopped in the middle of it will urge him to play the video game more because video games usually have gameplay system that needs to be finished first to get the reward. This will make the player need to play it all over again, and the urge will increase more because of unfinished tasks with high reward. It's a win win because the son still can play the video game, which will make him satisfied even more.
The first punishment is creative. The second one is just nuts.…
