I always regret buying "trendy" clothing, for example I bought a tie dye/swirl pattern cardigan during 2020 lockdown and never wore it because when we came out of lockdown it wasn't "trendy" anymore. love this video Alisha :)))

I literally look around at all the stuff ive boughten and its scary how much I could’ve saved it makes me feel better to see videos like this that I’m not the only one, one thing i regret buying is more like a group of things-the massive amounts of body care I never went through and just tossed or gave away-LIMIT THY SELF!

The large monogram TOTE Bag from Marc Jacobs is everything your looking for (kinda looks like a dior bag) The zipper and the straps are big, I used it to travel this year its great.
I’ll never forget being a pre-teen obsessed with fashion and thinking I NEEDED this Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers tote bag with Baby on it(from the infamous Love Angel Music Baby). It was so cheap and smaller than a reusable shopping bag 🥴🥴

The thing I regret buying the most is fast fashion clothes , clothes that are seasonal bright and full of weird patterns . At the end of the day "I don't have anything to wear" even though I have tons . I've now started to invest in more basic pieces that I can wear with everything, miss and match and use all the time.

I love my Kindle! I love that if there’s a book I want, I can access the library just.like.that versus, let me make a trip to the book store. I still love a physical book, but I loveeee the easy access to books!

One thing I really like about my kindle is that you can read in the dark and super bright sun. Also I love that I can take it to the beach/pool and don’t have to worry about my book getting damaged!

Genuine question though, wouldn't a tablet do the same job? I mean in case someone obtains an ipad/tablet is there a reason to change it into kindle to read books?

@@375ratingFor me the size of the kindle is much more pleasant to hold. Also the battery life of the kindle is great, it can last weeks
i use my iPad as my kindle and it works super well but its definitely cheaper to buy a kindle instead of an ipad if someone didn't already have one 🤷♀

To put this in perspective in case anyone is curious, $8000 is a lot of money but it isn't a crazy amount of money if you're a millionaire. Obviously not everyone has disposable income but many people do and a lot of people can relate to impulse buys, just not at the same scale, it's all about perspective. $8000 would be 0.8% of income for someone who makes $1 million a year (Idk how much Alisha actually makes, I just chose a round number). It would be the same as wasting $480 for someone making $60k a year.
I also regret my kindle! I didn’t realize how much I gravitate towards an actual book in my hands and flipping pages lol

I agree with you on the kindle part i love having a physical book instead of the kindle as well! I have a kindle and i just gave it to my grandfather when he was in the nursing home after surgery and he still uses it. So I’m glad he has it!

Alisha!! I totally get it I didn’t like kindles either. I def was a physical book gal. BUT I love using my kindle when reading at night. It’s dim light so it’s not like reading off your phone, but you don’t have to have the lights on. That helped me develop a love for my kindle. With the lights being off while you read, and you reading from the dim light of your Kindle, that helps your body still create the hormone that helps you fall asleep. So the lights from your room and phone don’t keep you up. But I get it, physical books are hard to beat.

Ok! I completely agree about the kindle. I have realized the physical book and the feeling of it in my hand and just the small satisfaction of turning a page has left my kindle dusty in my night stand. Idk what it is but the feeling of a real book is just so much better to me. Super huge regret coz it was a present and I feel like I could have asked for a gift card and got so many physical books, but you live and you learn I guess 😅

I agree with Alisha on the kindle . Sometimes I’m like I need to stop looking at my phone and read a book , and then go use a tablet to read it’s kinda dumb . If I want to read a book I want the physical enjoyment of flipping through the pages

Ahh I really want a kindle but I also feel like I get so much more gratification from holding a real life book too but I also hate the clutter of books that I’ve read so having a kindle seems so much more satisfying in that sense!

I regret buying Louis Vuitton planners/agendas. 😩 they were too pretty and expensive that I never wanted to use it for fear of ruining the canvas… it stayed in the dust bag for years until I finally decided to sell them. Love them but my regular planners get trashed from daily use… so I should’ve known it would be a waste to buy LV. 😂

Bookwise, I’d recommend Divine Rivals and Fourth Wing if you like fantasy or any Ali Hazelwood or Emily Henry book if you like contemporary!
Okay book worm here too! I LOVE physical books so much more, if I had the money to buy all the books I read I would. But my nook as well as some free book websites (which imma gatekeep after what happened to z-library, sorry) has saved me so much money while able to keep up with a hobby I love. For the people who have the money to buy physical books all the time, I admire you and agree they’re better. But for the working class nooks and kindles can be lifesavers if used alongside free downloads!
