My mum had a conversation with me in the car (when I couldn’t escape). It makes me feel pressured to kiss or be with someone, but I always remember to keep in my comfort zone until I’m ready. Jessica Ham depends how old you are. If you're old enough then just be upfront and honest. I'm in the same situation where it's good for contraception but also I have irregular periods. Just say you're getting tired of dealing with them and want some more professional advice on it and want to look more into it. There's no harm in doing so

I would just say you want to see a doctor because of your period. Or on your next Dr appt tell the Doctor your concerns. The Dr will probably give you the option for BC or something else. Your mum will just need to accept that.

Gurl don't do it, the fact that you're questioning should tell you enough that you aren't ready. When it does happen, possibly much later in the future, you want to feel completely and utter comfortable with your partner. There should be no doubts in mind at all. Keep in mind he(or she) will be touching you(I realize you are 13 but its important to understand the reality of the situation) and kissing you in place you've never ever been touched before. If you feel nervous at all don't do it, consent is extremely important. Know all the dangers, the possibility of getting pregnant if you aren't careful, the diseases you can get if the person you're with isn't clean of STDs. If your boyfriend loves you, he can wait.
