@shitforbrains121 well its not on any of there actual albums its just a compilation cd with various artists doing cover songs so I think its good to hear other artists perform songs that are well known, unless ur a diehard fan of said band and dont want to hear any other versions :P

It's incredibly rare to find a cover that is actually better than the original (which is a matter of opinion anyway) but that's not what they set out to do when a band makes a cover. The point of a cover is to pay homage to a band that has influenced you and to put your own style/spin on it. I personally love this cover, but I can understand why some people don't.

Actually speaking of respect where it's due, listen to Ugly Kid Joe's version of sweet leaf, admititally, probably the best Sabbath cover i've heard.
