This is a song about Surtur, and He is The Destroyer of the Universe!
I think the old stuff is their best stuff too. Although I still really enjoy their new stuff.
I ate some spicy ass thai food for dinner. Needless to say, tomorrow I will be releasing Surtur's fire. 🔥

@@JoseLuisQ666 Well, it helps that I work with a bunch of metalheads (though my boss enjoys Kix and Quiet Riot).
Nice! The boss died a year ago so me and the other doctor are now running things, so I've been playing a lot of AA along with Bach and Hardbass from time to time. New kennel worker is into drumming and Metal, and he's loving it also.
This song have so much emotions. It's desperation with a glimpse of hope that is crushed at the end.
What a masterpiece.
Imagine if this was recorded with the production budget of their current albums

I prefer old Amon Amarth but I also like their newer stuff, still nothing can top The Avenger

the crusher is the best melodic death metal release after at the gates' first album.
I can not help it, but I feel like this alongside Versus the World and Once Sent From The Golden Hall were their best albums.

Dude, this Song is from "The Crusher" which came out in 2001, and marks their THIRD full length Album after "Once send from the Golden Hall" and "The Avenger"... I think you just trolled yourself there.

There is a clear difference made from albums Fate of Norns and prior to With Oden on Our Side and on, we just call these old and new Amon Amarth for clarification.
One could say, more mainstream which happens to a lot of bands, a style that fit the "public" a little better. IMO i like the old stuff better.

Dude, I understand you, the old AA sounds differently, like less melodic, but the "new" AA sounds great too, in my opinion it's an improvement.
