Definitely a good size town. My friends uncle lived there when I was younger and he would let us borrow his old Jeep. And allow us to stay in a Cabin he owned neat the Chattooga River whenever we went whitewater kayaking. Had some good times in that old cabin.
Thank you so much. I did not see the town on the map when I passed through. I must have not zoomed in far enough. I will go there the next time I’m in SC. Thanks again.
I love the upstate area of South Carolina, but have not spent enough time there to recommend one town over the other. Sorry I could not be more helpful. I think all the towns are worth visiting if you are thinking about moving.
That bantam chef of walhalla is still running its got some weird hours but you will know when it’s open because it’ll have a LONG line for the drive through 😂 and also that tap room place isn’t open yet their suppose to be making it in to a fancy up scale steakhouse I’m glad you got to see some of our little town also that walhalla steakhouse has some of the BEST food it has been there for i think about 50 years the owner was the grand marshal in the parade in 2022 walhalla is also the town that the president of the state senate lives and grew up in so that’s a big flex we have
Very nice walk and talk of Walhalla, SC's town center, Timothy! Looks like that town could be a nice place to live. GOD bless!
Thanks👍
That's my home town born and raised. It's a great town to raise a family.
Walhalla is a wonderful place, I would love to live there.
@Swampfox-tr1rk Yes sir brother. I'm proud to have been born and raised in Walhalla. Come and join the family.
Business throughout this town still seems to be thriving for the most part which is good to see!
It is.
Your getting ready to add the population with this tour
Walhalla is a bigger town than I thought it would be. I've never heard of it. Nice tour Timothy.

@TimothyFrench Not me brother. Some of us knew better. Lo
Did you ever paddel Big Ben?
🤣🤣🤣
I’m not recalling the name Big Ben as a rapid along the Chattooga. If it is I ran it I’m sure.
Been there
You forgot to do West Union.
Thank you so much. I did not see the town on the map when I passed through. I must have not zoomed in far enough. I will go there the next time I’m in SC.
Thanks again.
@TimothyFrench west union is a very small town so i can see how you missed it lol you probably looked at it not knowing it was west union
@@creatingwithcarebear4282 If you drive to to Walhalla via SC 28, there's a sign for West Union at the intersection of SC 11.
would you recommend moving there?

Thanks for all the local information. I’ve got to come back and eat at the Bantam Chef. Sounds like people love it.
If you know you know why the Bamtam Chef on main Street Walhalla isn't opened most days
