This is the funniest thing. I checked out the website too, thankfully it comes with a pop-up that it is a site for adults. Their slogan/one-liner description on the site is that it is a "cinematic and parody" adult site. Beautiful.

I love the Wicked thematic colors so I was a much easier grader. However, anything with simply the label "Wicked" printed on the front to me isn't a collab. I would need compensation from the IP's owner before I would wear what is basically an ad. My fav was the Sharp Flex hair tools, so so pretty. BTW Lucy was very funny, especially as the video progressed concerning all that merch!😉
there is a collab with Zeelool thats selling glasses that look like elphabas but pink and that and the aldo collab are like my favorite out of the bunch im so serious. They also have the standard black version of her glasses too and as someone who likes unusual glasses it makes my heart happy. If I weren't in love with my current ones I think I'd buy them and wear them legitimately
This sent me down a wicked brand collab rabbit hole, and omg there are so many more collabs than the ones in this video. This just scrapes the surface of the chaos that lies within the wicked brand collabs ($3,600 ring that stole and crushed my heart; I'm looking at you). The Hollywood Reporter has a fairly? complete list, but I still may be missing some. 64 BRANDS are listed on that one... sooooo
Welp, I know what article I'm looking at after finishing the video! I've been a Wicked fan since I was a kid, so it's fun to look at (if not buy) all the collab merch.
I loved this! The only thing I disagree with is the Cambridge Satchel Company because that pink bag is Glinda's *actual bag* in the movie :)

I really enjoyed your Hello Fresh advertising, well done! Keeping it casual and funny was the right approach. I know RUclipsrs need sponsors but it usually gets very repetitive and no matter what the offer is I get irritated so it was nice to get to laugh instead.

Totally agree that that dress was giving EGL/lolita fashion! The patterning looks very inspired by sweet lolita prints, which is not a bad choice for Glinda.
I do not live in cave, but i've never heard about Wicked before this crazy marketing campaign. I live in Germany and here some brands also have Wicked theme items. I play in "Time princess" which is chinese game and even they added this collab to game - and players are now "wtf is this witch thing"?
Except Barbie i can't remember what other movie in past years collaborated with literary every possible brand

I collect monopolys!! But only The ones with new/special features or rules, not just different themes
I love merch that isn't just a logo slapped on a shirt. We did Hobbiton in NZ recently and the amount of merch there that was just the title of the movies or a promo pic slapped on a tumbler was so disappointing. I want stuff that's themed and interesting!
I bought two nail polishes from OPI, Ozitively Elphaba and Let's Rejoicify. They are both stunning!

Box lunch has this cute pink trunk purse for Glinda. I love the metal G on the front and the design around it.
I like the simplicity while it feels a bit different from other products that other brands do.
The only con for me is the price. Hope I can make a DIY version of it eventually.
Another random collab is the scrub brand Figs, it doesn’t outright say wicked anywhere but the two new colors are pink and green lol
I actually do have 3 different monopolies! But one was given to by Hasbro for free and the other is the llama vs unicorn one and is played differently. The free one is also played a bit differently because it has a talking mr monopoly in the middle that banks for you.

They have robinsons squash in the UK and its pink and green and has glitter in it! I also got christmas tree decorations of elphaba and glinda from m&s and love them so much!
I just watched Wicked with my best friend, and coming back from the movie we went to Aldo cause she needed to return some shoes, and we saw the Wicked collab... we bought the matching necklaces :) (And I also bought the heels with Glinda's wand on the heel later online, I couldn't resist D:)

So far the only wicked products I want are the barbie dolls because they would be nice collector’s items.
But I wish other products focused on more details from the play or book instead of just “this green” “this pink” for almost every product out there.
I also want more of the characters to be featured since Wicked is a big ensemble, in my opinion that contribute to the themes of the story.
I liked the BLUENOTES collab in Canada. Super affordable but looks unique and cute

I can say from personal experience that kids love color changing foods. They will fall for it every time. I begged for blue butter, I had the Shrek ketchup and the blue SpongeBob mac and cheese.
Today I had the Glinda Starbucks drink and it was really good!

Why are there so many merch collabs? 😭 are they already expecting the movie to be such an flop they have all this merch to buy before the movie is even out to makeup some of the money? Especially if the first does end up being not good, no one will want to go see the second part and then they’ll be out a lot of money…. Unless 👀 we get all this merchandise now
Honestly a good q but I actually think it's kind of like a win win marketing technique? If it's successful the merch is extra money, if it's not it's still (in some cases) product that can sell and it all serves as additional advertising for the movie. In a way it kind of contributes in part to the hype, it gives a feel of "wicked will be popular" or "everyone is seeing wicked", especially with the merch aimed at parents and kids! but also I think they've already shot both parts 🤷♀️ so the budget is already mostly set haha
the movie's not going to flop, it already soared miles above box office pre-sale ticket expectations & is currently the number 1 movie in presales in korea

yep! they're splitting into two parts like the musical - I'm sceptical but keen to see how they expand it, there's a lot of extra material to work with so fingers crossed it's worth the 5(?) hours
all the critic reviews have said they realized a 2nd part was needed when they watched the 1st. they said trying to cram it all into 1 movie would feel extremely rushed & you would barely have any real character development
