  • If you've had multiple fibroids removed, or large fibroids removed via robotic, laparoscopic, or an open approach, the chances are that you will need a C-section for delivery after your surgery.
This is because surgery weakens the wall of the uterus and can lead to urine rupture during labor.
So it is often recommended that you get a C-section at 37 weeks for the health of you and your baby.
Please ask the surgeon who does your surgery what the beat decision in your case is!

I had a myomectomy in 2022 and I’m currently pregnant. I found out today I will have a C section because of that. I’m truly devastated as I wanted a natural birth and have been working towards it.
