Yeah I was buying new doors, windows and garage door anyway and thought I would apply. The flaming hoops and waiting to even hear if the grant would be given wasn’t worth it to me. If the program helps disadvantaged folks great but I wasn’t waiting months for an answer thus stopping progress on the projects.
But of course you have to pay for it first that's part of the rule lady. That's part of taking the chance. And I think all this does is give the roofers another chance to go just to pieces. I'm so grateful to have a metal roof.

Yep and then it cost you a ton of interest if you don't have enough money to pay for it before they finally pay you back.
