I've had 5 Canon Elph 310's, and even with a complete Fuji X kit with primes and now lots of vintage lenses, that Canon was there at the right time when I needed it. Thus, it has to be my favorite. That's crazy, no? What's really nice is any noise in the skies from it' pics is now eliminated using Topaz Photo AI. I just have to walk with a cane and a small back pillow in a bag, now, so carrying the Fuji gear just isn't happening. The Canon goes in a pocket. But always covered so no lint gets on the barrel when it retracts and starts dumping dust on the sensor. A one way ticket to Palookaville. So, now, somehow, I still have two of them in perfect condition. And their batteries last and last.
That's persistence, good on you!!! It's a fantastic camera!! In saying that, I have the "P" iteration. I had very minimal issues and even those seem to be no longer since the recent firmware update.

Talk about a slow learning curve. If a camera manufacturer is that bad, at some point you need to realize that owning a camera they manufacture is not really a status symbol, it's a sign of idiocy.

I’ve had a Nikon D700 for more than 10 years, still going strong. Never had to replace it once, let alone 7 times hahahaha oh wait, the camera is so great he bought it 7 times hahaha that’s even dumber!
It's seriously nice. Files are amazing... And, as a percentage of total production units with issues are negligible. You only hear about the faulty ones.
@@isoawe1888 Yea I’m definitely with you on that. Seems very odd indeed. The complaints on the main Leica forum seem to be very low in number. My M11P was not fault free but the issues were minor and infrequent. Seems to have been addressed in the recent update.
@@SavedbybGrace my guess is that he's one of the few m11 owners who use it daily for studio shoots. Most people don't really push their cameras that much at all
