It looks just like the beta idle and strafe at 10:07. Perhaps this was how Bob fought in the beta. And by observation, the stance itself looks like a typical wrestling stance in real life. While the stance itself fits Russel (especially since it makes him look intimidating), it just looks like a more sloppy, dramatic wrestling pose. So it very well could have originally been Bob's (and any other wrestler for that matter), then it was later given to Russel's boss fight, then scrapped altogether. But I could be wrong because this could just very well be the grab animation for wrestlers... but even if that's the case, the grab animation and the animations at 10:07 look identical in some frames. It'd be interesting to see them compared. Hell, maybe the grab animation was DERIVED from the animation at 10:07. I'd like your input on this.
The idle from that Bob pic you are talking about is most likely the one at 18:51 since that was his fighting style during development. I know they don't look alike that much but I think that's because Bob is about to perform a running tackle on Jimmy. The thing is that Russell's alternative fighting strafe is kinda a mesh of various animations. Basically, only his upper body is animated while his legs aren't at all. Because of this, he was programmed to use J_Grappler_A leg animations while standing still and use Jimmy's wrestling strafe leg animations when he moves.

And yeah, really the biggest indicator that I saw from Russel's strafe was that his legs look just like Bob's leg animation too. That entrance is supposed to be a window that connect to the boys dorm bathroom. About your question, the file that stores most of the coordinates used in the game (entrance/exit related also) is Trigger.img. The file is huge and might be confusing but if you look around you could find more stuff.
0:46 I did see this in free roam once on my modded Bully, with Russell and Bucky doing it; Russell looking like he was snatching Bucky's spudgun. Actually, this animation looks similar to what I saw as well 22:39.

If you mod prefects to another style they will start beating the shit outta you. and for a brief moment the unused idle comes to play.
9:42 .. the easiest way's to change their bully classes character from striker to grappler in pedstats.dat (they will do the grappler running punch instead if you/the enemies're too far from the bully) and they could spit/fully punch to you/their enemy
so the unused 5-strike combo, from 1st to 3rd punch are what Johnny Vincent used in his fighting style that replace 3 kicks combo and the 4th punch were used by Gary.
Personally i call this "martial arts fighting style" because yep, look like taken straight from game like Street Fighter or Tekken or KOF. Such a real shame that no one actually get this style in the final game, it would be awesome fight with a dropout/townie who can do martial arts moves(kinda like beta Johnny style).
The unused Gym move looks like a Stealth Takedown (Or Silent Takedown if you play the Batman Arkham Games like me), maybe in the last Gym Class you would learn how to do Silent Takedowns. If Rockstar left the Silent Takedowns in the game, I definitely would use it on Authority Figures.

The problem is that fighting classes aren't related to an specific size (Medium, Large, Huge, etc). That's why I mentioned Bo and Casey aren't the smallest members of Jocks faction but they still use J_Melee_A.
Maybe power kick 2 was the power move from the third hit or second hit because if you look, his leg doesn’t no clip through the opponents leg in the power move from 2nd hit. And the power move for 3rd hit is different too as the animation is a little different. His attack also stops when his foot contacts with the oppositions face. Also the charge animation for the leg sweep removed as you used the Roundhouse charged anim.

I think it was accidentally disabled from the attack pattern. They could have just lowered the damage or make it blockable if they thought it was overpowered. In my opinion the jock jumping tackle is about as busted as the shoulder barge and it's not unused. It deals half the damage of the shoulder barge but it has longer range and can't be interrupted with any attack.
honestly, it would’ve been much better if it was a breaker and dealt 25 dmg, their combo should’ve also dealt 10/10/15 so it’s even since it’s just a stronger version of the greaser knee attack
if any of the Townies were to have the DO_Melee style, i'd say it were to belong to Clint & Leon, seeing as Ricky & Lucky wouldve had the G_Ranged and also, the Jocks' beta idle pose can be seen on Dan's yearbook photo (along with his beta outfit)

The thing is that grappler townies can't do the regular grapple attempt (not part of their moveset), instead, they can only do the running tackle. They do have their own grapple attack which is the mount headbutt (it's listed as an universal fighting move so it didn't belong to them originally).

I can't confirm any detail about the beta version of his boss fight, but I assume that he was gonna actually fight after you defeated the other jocks. I believe they just gave up on the idea or thought it would be too long and left the boss fighting style unfinished/buggy (football tackle doesn't sync correctly, can get stucked guarding attacks).
@@weirdface1846 I explained that in one of my latest videos. That's because the game has a barely used blur effect that only works on PS2 and WII. If you use an action with that effect on PC and XBOX 360 then the ped will disappear for a single frame. Ted's evade uses this effect, that's why it happens.
I also think that the greasers boot stomp is called Johnny power punch 1 is because it replaced johnnys flying kick, which was called power move. The start of both moves are also the same and have the same hit effect.
Maybe thats why Rockstar didn't use it. But i like the beta 3 hit combo, Jab - Straight - Hook, i don't like much the final version Hook - Hook - Hook.
@@gamefails743 well, even though Rockstar removed several things in the final version, you have to admit that the game's combat system is great and good. Each faction / group has its own style, the Bullies have a Brawler style, the Preppies have Boxing style, Greasers have Martial Arts (Muay Thai / Kickboxing, Catch-wrestling) the Jocks have a Striker / Grappler style and the Nerds, well, they are weak and mostly fight with weapons.
It seems rockstar had plans to make fighting of bully much more detailed like GTA v but probably stopped because of limitations great video buddy!any chance of us getting some of these fighting styles as a mod?
P3ti (Bully-MP creator) was working on a tool to edit action files, which would allow to recreate beta fighting styles and even create our own. Until then, all the recreations that people make (including mine) are clunky, sloppy and aren't optimal for real gameplay yet.
I successfully managed to do it both for animated idles and frozen idles. The frozen idles don't look as good but it's the closest thing to the beta idles.

I can't confirm any detail about the beta version of his boss fight, but I assume that he was gonna actually fight after you defeated the other jocks.
I believe they just gave up on the idea or thought it would be too long and left the boss fighting style unfinished/buggy (football tackle doesn't sync correctly, can get stucked guarding attacks).

@@weirdface1846 I explained that in one of my latest videos. That's because the game has a barely used blur effect that only works on PS2 and WII. If you use an action with that effect on PC and XBOX 360 then the ped will disappear for a single frame. Ted's evade uses this effect, that's why it happens.

For teds block, it gets stuck when he tries to block a attack that’s not going for him, the non cliques combo, and the townies combo.
I also think that the greasers boot stomp is called Johnny power punch 1 is because it replaced johnnys flying kick, which was called power move. The start of both moves are also the same and have the same hit effect.
The unnamed animations are Similar to those in Old GTA games

@@gamefails743 well, even though Rockstar removed several things in the final version, you have to admit that the game's combat system is great and good.
Each faction / group has its own style, the Bullies have a Brawler style, the Preppies have Boxing style, Greasers have Martial Arts (Muay Thai / Kickboxing, Catch-wrestling) the Jocks have a Striker / Grappler style and the Nerds, well, they are weak and mostly fight with weapons.

It seems rockstar had plans to make fighting of bully much more detailed like GTA v but probably stopped because of limitations great video buddy!any chance of us getting some of these fighting styles as a mod?
P3ti (Bully-MP creator) was working on a tool to edit action files, which would allow to recreate beta fighting styles and even create our own. Until then, all the recreations that people make (including mine) are clunky, sloppy and aren't optimal for real gameplay yet.
Mascot has the same beta idle as bullies tho

I successfully managed to do it both for animated idles and frozen idles. The frozen idles don't look as good but it's the closest thing to the beta idles.
