As an Indian-American, I really like the names and colors of this collection. Each name really goes with its color and the collection overall represents India well. India is a very colorful place, plus the green, orange and blue are close to the shades on our flag: 🇮🇳

I've been waiting for this video. I'm so excited that Essie FINALLY has a mint green color (since Mint Candy Apple is in the blue family). Head2Toe's pictures make them look a lot darker in the bottle.

At some point, could you please do a favorite pinks video - like favorite baby pink, favourite bubble gum pink, favorite pink glitter, holo...with special attention to the ones with high quality formulas? I'm getting too old to put up with runny, patchy, pulling crap (looking at you ballet slippers). I'm currently loving NWP's cookies, casseroles and coercion, and at the moment I have my eye on picture polish's wanderlust. Thanks! Great video (as always)!

Can we all just give a freaking hallelujah that Essie did one whole collection that was good? LOL They are soooooo inconsistent with their collections, which is probably why some don't want to purchase because we just don't know what's going to happen once that bottle is cracked open. I remember when Essie was the absolute end all, be all of polishes, it just breaks my heart that these inconsistencies happen so often with them now. :'(

I definitely have others I love but for different reasons, ie: stamping, water marbling, etc. She has NEVER recommended a polish that I then purchased and didn't immediately fall in love with. I SO look forward to the email with her name on it, lol..... like a little kid, I get so happy it's ridiculous. My bank account groans but that is always the issue with us polish addicts! ;o)

It's seriously breaking my heart.

Delhi Dance is my fav also. When you first show the bottle I quickly thought, nope don't like it but once you applied it to your nails and then did the final shot it's very pretty. I could use this a lot in the summer. Thanks for all your hard work.

Oh I love Going Guru! Sadly we get the in-between Essie Collections rather sporadically here in Belgium. The Cashmere Mattes came out with this year's Winter Collection (so late, I know). The Neons 2015 we are only now getting them individually as a "freebie" with the purchase of two other Essie polishes (no Coacha'bella though). But the Retro Revival Collection just dropped last week, so not quite sure what/when to expect them really?!
How do you file your nails so nicely? I really like the tip filed straight across. My problem is that I end up going cockeyed. And sometimes the edges get very sharp. Any suggestions and advice would be so appreciated! I hate it when I keep filing so to get a straight line, and I end up filing away too much of my nail. THANK YOU, JESS!!!!

+Lisa J I think chipping is pretty subjective...it can depend on individual nail chemistry, top and base coat used, and the kind of work you're doing with your hands. That being said, I haven't noticed anything unusually crappy about the wear time, but polish doesn't usually last more than a day on my nails no matter what the brand.

Maybe if Essie didn't come out with 400 collections every year they wouldn't have such a crap load of dupes. This collection was good but no one has duped themselves more than Essie. There's only so many colors of creams you can make with out starting to make colors so similar that it looks like you're just repeating yourself over and over again. And a lot of times the colors aren't similar. They're the EXACT same color. They just do WAY too many damn collections in a year. It is SO unnecessary! AHH Essie make it stop!

The kind of flakies used in "shine of the times" were discontinued and very hard to find, so Essie could no longer make the polish :)
