Now…..Sir Mark Cavendish….a true sporting legend 👍🇮🇲
When you think of all the things than can, and do, go wrong for Sprinters, it's amazing that he won 34 stages.
It's so unpredictable. Sprinters need to haul an unsuitable physique 200km every day, just to get a chance at that final 200 metres.
Other Sprinters mentioned in the video have come and gone.
I will be heading to Bordeaux/Libourne in July 2023 (next week in fact) to see him again. He's a true legend of the Tour.
I saw him in Green 2 years ago, at the St Emillion time-trial. A real privilege.
shout out to mark renshaw, cav's lead out man for years
The greatest sprinter of all time
Not "one of" - THE GREATEST.
This morning, Sir Mark Cavendish just won his 35th TDF stage.
Stage 4, and he was DOMINANT - an ENTIRE BIKE LENGTH and then some ahead of Phillipsen.
Could it be 2021 all over again?
Either way - he DID IT.
I just watched the Manx Missile win the last stage of the 2023 Giro d'Italia. He looked great!
We're so happy for him! Hopefully he gets that win in the Tour this year
Cav's move to Sky was just so Team GB could have full control of his calendar for the London Olympics. I'm sure he knew the score when he joined and also knew he'd leave for 2013.
Good stuff. Very informative.
THE greatest, easily.
Great analysis
May the lord bless mark this year with the victory
Amen 🙏
Back to this video on 2024 after watching M.K. brake records. 🎉🎉🎉 Amazing career !!!!
Nice! You beat me to it!
Bit harsh to say hes one of the best sprinters ever, he is without doubt the best sprinter in history
🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
More like the best in the Team Sprint. Sean Kelly didn't need a lead out train. And his crash in the 2014 TdF was 100% his fault as he deliberately rode into another rider in the final sprint.
MC deliberately caused MANY crashes. It's obvious.
The guy is a basturd
Really hope he gets them last stage wins at the tour he needs to overtake mercx 🙏
He looks good to do it this year!
@@TrueSportsLore I'm hopeful 🙏
Your wish come true😉
Do we already now the Riders list of this years Tour?
@@elpatron2517 yes, just search which team your interested in on Google and it will tell you. Cav is definitely in the squad for the tour.
Don't give up Kavs
G.S.O.A.T.
Your face edits into giga Chad always crack me up
Really like your videos but you neglected to mention Cav’s World Championship victory in 2011 (on a flat tire!)
We focused mainly on the Tour in this video, it was an incredible win that one day deserves it's own video
Next video can you make MVDP?
Thank you for the suggestion, we'll deffo do MVDP. Next up is Roglic

How can he have a fall? If anything, he’s at most had a rise, fall and rise. I genuinely have gone from not a massive fan to respecting no rider more.
Fall and revival and fall at this year's tdf which is his last 😅
Nope he will do 1 more year
Me vjen shum shum keq qe Mark e mbylli me nje aksident karrieren e tij duke mos e thyer dot rekordin e Merks prej 34 fitoresh , nuk e meritonte kete ters , ka qene vertete ciklisti me I shpejte I te gjitha koherave , you are a legend brother , ❤
MC is a pure beast.
seeing cavs recent retirement announcement makes me want to see him get the record more than anything.
Stage 5, record breaking! Congrats to MC!
Bloody love Cave, one more stage win mate, one more.
Can we get an update to this?
he will this year!
Whatever happened to Lance Armstrong?
The AI thumb pic is NOT Cavendish
GOAT sprinter
He was cheated out of the record when they dropped him the following year from the team and incidentally won nothing , he is the GOAT no question
No doubt. But he will take one this year no question.
What a great guy. Best sprinter of all time for me.
Hervorragendes Video
Quickstep did dirty on him😔
STUD
I would have loved for INEOS to grab him during the transfer window to get him in the TDF to that legendary stage win.
As a British rider & former member of the team, it would have been a great end to the story.
Nevertheless, even in Astana, he still deserves to surpass Merckx for all the hardship he's endured thoughout the years.
Absolute Legend !
make that 35
He should go tour and all other sprinters should come to an agreement and let him win the first sprint stage and let him bow out with the record wins.
Nah I’m a fan of Cav but even still, it wouldn’t mean as much if they let him win. Now if someone wants to help him, that’s a different story
The Belgian cycling fraternity would stop at nothing to prevent Cavendish from taking Eddys stage win record!!!
Mark you deserve one more stage win ,and take the record, but unfortunately for Mark Rome has more say in what goes on,and Belgium being a catholic country has more influence in EU than UK WOULD EVER HAVE HAD (HENCE BREXIT ) therefore Rome allows Eddy Mercks record to stay,no matter what the honest sporting achievements are of both ridders. Also in the days of Eddy mercks ,there were far more drug controls, even Belgium needs it's heros,no matter how they were achieved
Never really liked him, especially when I found out he spat on a fellow competitor in the British Championships.
What the hell is with the thumbnail shower raisin skin? Is that how they look after a ride? Or does cycling significantly increase aging?
Maybe the worst pro bike handler of all time?
Columbia was the same team as T-Mobile, just as Discovery Channel was the same team as US-Postal, just the sponsor changed.
He's such a cry-baby. Put on your dress and ride your bike.
I think nobody want Cavendish to win 1 stage. On stage5 he is already there.May be if he on quick step he already win stage.
You were too negative. Only 3 wins, only 2 wins. It's the Tour! He did amazing. But you made it seem like a failure. Shame on you.
Nothing to say?
He is now a washed up and a hasbeen
You mean an athlete who has had a career. Fucks sake. How old are you?
Another Belgian afraid of losing,a plastic drug infused hero ,Eddy????
He has 35 TDF wins now.
he crashed a lot and wasted a lot of semen, and got sick, and didn't stay celibate and had low semen and testerone levels. he just had the young spark
You’re mad
He DELIBERATELY CRASHED THE FIELD when he knew he wasnt going to win
The guy is a crazy ass cry baby.
