It appears both Schweizer and Valbe have qualified for spots in the 10,000 through the reallocation system (spots rejected by other nations are reallocated based on international rankings). Schweizer has retained her spot for the 5,000 so she will be running in both events. Elle St. Pierre has apparently rejected her spot for the 5,000 and will be running only the 1500. This made Valbe next in line for the 5,000 but she apparently rejected that spot so the 5th place finisher at the trials, Whittni Morgan, who qualified via international rankings, will fill out the US team in that event.
Well done Karissa, good luck in Paris!
If she qualifies for the 10k, will she run the 5k and 10k at Paris? I didn't hear that question or answer.
@@larrylem3582 yes she will run both.
