Let's make a Zen Martini at the Facebook Bar How to get Let Go of attachments that are painful
The commandment (recipe) to Let go is the Gin.
The leftover is the Vermouth or my pain of attachment to the past.
I try to stir them together. Let Go...Let GO, dammit...Let go... LET GO!...shit
The commandment (instructions, recipe) to Let Go and the attachment are different: one is thought, one is feeling, but when stirred at the Martini Bar, I cannot let go of the feeling with the thought I should let go. When thought and feeling, mind and body are stirred together as a recipe, all you get is a Pain Martini.
Frustrated I just stir all the harder. Then I start shaking and I have an Anxiety Martini...Then I remember...OH...this is a Zen Martini...I forgot the most important ingredient
I add a Lemon Twist of Irony and drink the Elixir. The Bartender pours the dividend in my glass (what's left in the shaker). No leftovers for this martini.
