It's the pattern, Stupid

Why can't we see the games or patterns we play? We can see the games of other people. The games of religions, political parties, even a nation, but why can't I see my own pattern? I may sense I'm stuck in a pattern. Deja Vu all over again..Ground Hog Day again..But why do I get stuck in a pattern like Bre Rabbit on the tar baby.
