Good to know what to expect, especially in a restrained auto production environment. Nice video though was missing the bits I actually wanted to see - the timing and content of the texts with updates. So far have only an order received message and no idea when I can expect order confirmed, delivery date etc
Ordered my y long range in June 19 and delivered sept 19. It was worth it to wait.. but sometimes can’t speed due to battery 🔋 will go down fast….😅😅😅😅😅
I saw the name as you were talking about about used Tesla's. Quick note if you buy through Carvana (or Drive Time) get financing somewhere else. They gouge on interest.
@Jimmy I just ordered my model Y. My question is why when I purchased the model Y in the summary shows that for the long range Tesla is charging $23,000. Is that normal?
Any particular reason for a new car? I personally never bought a car that's not at least 10 years old. Currently driving a low mileage 2008 Toyota RAV4. I'd think a 2010s 4 runner or something like that would fit your needs pretty well provided if you don't mind wrench on your car once a while.
Thanks for this clip. If my job at EarthLink/Windstream had not been sent to India three years ago I would be looking at purchasing, more than likely the Tesla model Y,, or the Ford Mustang model E. Since I do not drive to work every workday. Still in the age of the "unvaccinated COVID-19 pandemic", and just do not go out except to purchase food once every two weeks do not put that much mileage on my current SUV which has served me well over the years.
I placed an order for Model Y. During the ordering process, I selected Tesla financing. Later I got email from Tesla saying that my loan application has been approved. A week later however, I received a paper mail from Wells Fargo telling me the loan application has been denied. Then, I called the number on the Wells Fargo letter, and she told me to ignore that paper mail because I had been approved. Has anyone experienced the same? Very confused. What Tesla number can I call to get to the bottom of this?
Ok delivery should be on a Tesla delivery truck or flatbed to your home. Screw someone driving a brand new Tesla I just ordered and letting them joyride it. Wtf that’s horrible service for what you’re paying.
The used-car market is becoming insanely come price these days, sometimes priced even more than brand new cars. It'll be a while before I ever buy a Tesla (or any electric car, for that matter) but this was an interesting video.
I mean if you rewind a year before shortages, you could walk into the dealership and buy a Tesla off the lot in 10 mins. But demand is so high right now that there almost none left on the lots. They are all new orders.
I live in Canada... and I find it amusing that the government decided to help us save money to switch to electric by slapping extra taxes on the gas. I would love to switch to electric... but I can't afford to buy a new car, and how could I feel good about myself for sluffing off the extra gas tax on the person I sell my car to? Aside from that, this just makes me even more opposed to getting a Tesla. If I do switch to electric, it'll probably be when Subaru actually has a few offerings.
The infrastructure isn't there either. If you are traveling any extended distance not on your own leisure, the amount of logistics to keep your car charged is nightmarish. Good luck finding a fast charging station in butt fucking no where Nebraska or Arkansas. Not everywhere is California or New York.
@@junyangli8882 The infrastructure is expanding in my area... but if I want to go camping for a week or two, electric won't cut it. And good luck with solar panels... this past week a solar roof might generate enough power to charge a cell phone per day... maybe. Except consumer vehicles are a completely different ball game. I understand the switch to electric. I have a electric zero turn mower and outdoor power tools.
