This is peak guidance, learnt some new stuff and tips i should have followed when i first started tetris, for example the keybind on making sure each keys has a separate finger.
Normally I’d use the arrow keys to soft drop and rotate.

I'm amazed to see how similar my keybinds are to yours. Only difference for me is that i put d as 180 and arrow up as soft drop(a bit funny i know)
Also your playstyle is totally my type since i'm a plonker. Rn i'm a bit struggling in U rank and feel like speed is my main issue, most of the time i just can't go fast enough.
Also big flaw of mine is definitely consistency.
On average i play a little below 2 pps with 180-195 VS but often manage to hit 200+ VS rounds.
So i'm not really sure how to progress more at this point other than play more. But anyway, great video :oyes:
you're pps to vs ratio is on par with the top 100, 1pps to 100 vs, working on efficiency will give diminishing returns at that rate so i recommend focusing on speed by striding in vs.

@TetoRisu_ any way you suggest to become faster? So far I just play a lot of qp and sometimes do some 40L

the exceptions, they probably have between 5-10k+hrs in the game so they do whatever they want it's just slightly inefficient; if it aint broke dont fix it

welp the video uploader replied to you in the time that I wrote this... uh also the video does answer some of your questions. My bad ig but i dunno maybe i'll leave this here unless told otherwise.
1) "waiting your opponent to send lines so you can send it back right ?"
Yes. Ideally you also have an attack of your own set up before accepting your opponent's attack so you can combine both. Your attack + opponent's attack sent back to them = an even greater attack.
2) "whats the Best timing to send or when to wait etc.."
Timing when to send or when to wait might seem a bit tricky, but the basics are that you should accept from your opponent when you think they are going to send clean garbage - because clean garbage is easier to work into your own attacks (as long as accepting doesn't top out your board). This ties in to your next question.
3) "what determine how the garbage sent or received would look like ? is it pure luck ?"
So garbage type can actually be predicted and is not luck unless otherwise specified. What you call straight garbage - otherwise known as clean garbage - is only sent when an attack is made using a tetris, t-spin double or triple, or a perfect clear. Line clear combos that use single, double and triple line clears will include what is called cheesy garbage. Following this logic, an example where a large attack includes both single line clears and tetrises will send a mix of cheesy and clean garbage.
I will take this chance to mention that tetrio is currently operating under a new ruleset, the 'season 2 ruleset' if you will, where you can charge up a new mechanic called surge which sends slightly messy garbage / slightly cheesy garbage.
4) "whats the point of making combo. i mean b2b combo."
In modern tetris games, gaining b2b means sending slightly more garbage to your opponent for each consecutive tetris or t-spin line clear or if playing a gamemode where you need a high score, gives slightly more score per t-spin line clear or tetris (in case you don't know, b2b is a way to keep track of how many back to back line clears you've made that used only tetrises or t-spin line clears - back to back t-spins and tetrises).
A quick example could be that a tetris made with b2b will send at least five lines of garbage rather than four.
5) "what the minus means!!"
What you are referring to is related to a new mechanic unique to the tetrio season 2 ruleset called surge which I'll explain later. This minus shows up on a player's board when their opponent has more b2b than them (it might only show up if there is a large difference in b2b? I haven't played much tetra league so I am not too sure myself). It just tells you how far behind in b2b a player is.
The Surge mechanic is a new way to reward players for building up high numbers of b2b, where if you break a big b2b chain by making a non t-spin or tetris line clear it will send A LOT of garbage to your opponent. The garbage will also be a tiny bit cheesy because idk maybe the developers thought that would be more interesting.
The number of lines of garbage sent by the surge alone can be seen on the left of your board as a big number with a weird shape circling behind it. The weird shape also changes colour depending on how much b2b you have.
I hope these answers help and do not apologise for your questions here. This video is a guide and so asking questions under this video, which is obviously meant for helping others, shouldn't feel wrong.

how long would you say it takes to get adjusted to keybind changes?
ive been using default keybinds ever since i've started playing tetrio and ive hit a roadblock of around 2.5 pps midgame and 4.5 pps max (at my peak) for openers, and even that is really taxing
