  • My attempt at a clean version of the music used in the epic "Alice gets ready" scene (instrumental version of Go West's "Don't Be Afraid of Your Dreams"). Still some faint SFX present though...

If you think about what Alice is doing in this scene, it makes all the more up lifting. She removes all the photos from her mirror, something she hated looking at (Lack of self confidence) Then she puts on a piece of item from each of her fallen, something that represented a positive strength for each person. By the end she has stripped all negative from her persona and replaced it with confidence through help of her friends. Which works with the idea that nightmares represent our inner failings and fears. And with no failings and no more fear, the are no more nightmares. Hence, no more Freddy.

Sucks to know she did end up dying after sometime after Dream Child as it was implied at the beginning of Freddy's dead that he took care of the whole population of Elm street except for John Doe whom he was about to kill and did later on in the 2nd act. So even the dream master died.

I know it is popular to say that the first, third, or New Nightmare are the best of these films, but The Dream Master has always been my favorite. The Wes Craven movies were great horror, but this movie was a whole hell of a lot of fun from beginning to end. Not only is this scene the best "gearing up" montage in a movie ever, but the movie also has some unique Freddy kills as well as some great dream visuals. It was probably the most 80's of all of the films which is also a big plus in my book.

NOES overall managed to preserve itself better than the other iconic 80s slashers since it never dragged itself down to a complete and total dud. People say that Freddy's Dead is awful, but compare it to say Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X, or Halloween: Resurrection, and it's a masterpiece.

The thing that made this movie so memorable was not only the great effects and all round plot but Alice to me was the pivotal character we saw start as a shy and timid common high school girl into the heroic and badass warrior she became unlike most of the women like Kristen and Nancy that also fought Freddy Alice didn't seem all that scared in fact, she was damn near the closest thing to calm and controlled as I had ever seen anyone be when fighting Freddy she went into his own domain and kicked Freddy's ass all over the dreamland to me this is what makes Alice the most powerful character that's human in The NOES series

Alice, as a dream master, was meant to be Freddy's supernatural opposite. That's why she could 'kill' him and open the dream gates to rescue the souls he had in there, which neither Nancy nor Kristen could do. She is the only person in the world, though she didn't use them well due to inexperience, who had the same powers he did, but in a positive way.

Nightmare 3 is probably the best of the series but this was the most fun and was really the pinnacle of the series. Someone had stated that it was more of a dark fantasy flick than a horror film like the 3rd movie and i agree with that totally. Even Renny Harlin who directed it said that he made it out to be a hong kong style action fantasy movie.

this is the most 80s battle ready music ever, it just makes you feel patriotic as you ready to fight the villain and scream America as you fly kick to the villains chest. this song is awesome

Alice looks cute here not to mention I remember this piece of music from Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4 when she is about to get ready to kick Freddy's butt LOL!

"Yeah I can think. I can think of how sick I am of watching you drink your life away and taking it out on me." Out of every character in the franchise, Alice had the most character development. She went from shyly daydreaming, to kicking Freddy's ass. Plus she survived 2 films so she's a bad ass not to be fucked with! I love you Alice Johnson/Lisa Wilcox!

As a 'Scare Actor' at Tulsa haunt house. At "The Hex House / West Side Grim". This is 1 of my favorite tunes I listen to, as I prepare myself in my outfit, F/X make up. Along with many other actor's feel like we're ready to bring on the terror our scare tactics.Give our visitor's the ultimate scare they would remember on this year of '2018'. To remember us, one of the most scariest haunts in America. Check out www.hauntworld.com/

If you play this song with the scene in The Joker when he is dancing it almost fits it perfect. Play it as he's walking in the elevator. It would be better than song they play

Freddy actually gives Alice her power. Kristen says "Alice! You'll need my power!" and a blue energy ball comes out of her hand, but it hits Freddy first. Kristen's energy pauses and mutates, then leaves Freddy's body and strikes Alice with a golden light. At that point Alice becomes Freddy's nemesis, The Dream Master; culminating in this scene and music, as she prepares to take him out.
