Marvel head Kevin Feige unveiled the MCU lineup for Phase 5 and Phase 6, but mysteriously left Mutants and X-Men out of the equation for now. Erik Voss breaks down the headlines in this exclusive interview with the newest Marvel hero, Iman Vellani! Iman shares some behind-the-scenes tidbits about the show, including deleted scenes, what Bruno wrote in his letter to Kamala, and what the original inscription of the Bangle was before "What you seek is seeking you." Also, as a hardcore MCU fan herself, Iman shares her theories for how much of Kamala's time travel was part of Kang's plan!

Iman is such a humble person. Geeking out with youtube and comic nerds and an actor/actress playing that comic book character is a dream come true ones have been wishing. So glad Erik made it happen.
Iman Vellani absolutely smashed it as Kamala Khan and you can tell Marvel casting such a big fan really paid off tremendously well. Big up Iman, cant wait for The Marvels 🙌

One of the most wholesome interviews i've seen. So good to see how much Iman nerds out with Erik, such good vibes.
Also i had to note, Erik is so respectful, after seeing how much Iman wanted to talk about future plans but couldn't, most interviewers would have pushed some more hoping for a slip up, instead Erik backs off and appreciates how hard it is for Iman as a fan not just as an actor to not just fully nerd out and slip future mcu plans.
Please, more interviews with Erik and mcu cast members, hell, MORE ERIK INTERVIEWS ANYONE!

This is the sort of interview we need more of. Im so sick of mainstream media asking questions that people dont care about.
Like we see some of the male actors getting asked this philosophical question in regards to actors and then we see female actors like Scarlett Johansson getting asked questions about if they wear underwear under the suit or the fashion and diet. The fandom genuinely doesn't care, we want to know more about the contents, the meat so to speak.

They mentioned that Marvel never casted another MCU geek, but I would argue that Simu Liu knows his MCU. He might not be the encyclopedia superfan that Iman Vellani is, but he is truly a comic book movie geek like one of us

P.S. My take on 616 is that both the Comic universe and the Movie universe claim their own universe as 616 but that's just because each has its own classification system. They can both be seperate universes and both be 616 at the same time.
Yeah! I agree. After all the one that give them a name is themselves. I want to know how the future stories will reveal the corellation between those two 616.
Or they both are 616 and exist is seperate Multiverses, making the Comics multiverse and the MCU multiverse not canon to one another. Which i'm pretty sure is what they're going for.
technically 838 gave the name to 616 to the MCU
Yeah, it seems Iman’s thinking of convenience, since now we have to differentiate between Comic 616 and MCU 616. Having the MCU being 199999 while the Comics still maintain 616 makes it so easy to comprehend.
My take is that 616 is in universe, and 199999 is out of the universe

Never thought I would see this interview! Also it would be so cool to see Kevin Feige making an appearance in the future. If they do, they should do it in Deadpool 3 where Deadpool decides to go from his universe to the MCU, goes to Kevin Feige, and demands him to put him in the mcu with a whole script prepared, and then Kevin says if you kill the entire Fox universe, you can join the MCU. (Not my original idea, I saw it somewhere else)
