Welcome to week of uploads to celebrate my birthday week. Although I won't be giving you all my week of favorite natural hair products, I do have some great content lined up for you! Today's video is all about New Natural Hair Products. We have Curls, The Doux, Innersense and more! And of course he have to talk about Beyonce's new haircare line Cecred, coming out on February 20th!

I think they are referring to the textbook definition of coarse--very thick individual hair strands. Coarseness can be separate from curl pattern. So, you can be type 4 and not have coarse hair.

I honestly don't care about a lot of hair products. I love Miche though. It is a staple. My hair LOVES the conditioners and shampoo. I have also realized that my hair likes higher end products like Paul Mitchell's humectress line and Curlsmith. I have "bougie" hair. 😁 I am over new hair products and if the models don't have natural, coily, curly, and kinky hair..I am not interested.

your definition of coarse probably isn't the same since coarse refers to strand thickness. the coarsest hair is usually type 1 east asian hair. they have humongous strands. most type 4 hair is not coarse if were going by that definition. i think people use coarse to mean kinky hair with cuticles that don't lie flat. It's confusing seeing as how people use the term differently but technically it refers to strand thickness.
Exactly. Most type 4s have very fine hair. We just tend to have very dense hair (a lot of strands per square inch). So it doesn't surprise me that they would showcase a type 3 with coarse hair. People often confuse texture, density, and coarseness.

Curl type does not define if hair is coarse or not.
Tried the unbrush & zero regrets! Granted, I finger detangled a bit first but it was legit one of my faster wash sessions. And Beyonce can keep her hair line. Like you mentioned, I don't even know what her real hair looks like either. That's a, No from me.

Also I have recently recognized that thermal products work as a heat protector even from the sun. Great for summer or sun filled conditions.
Dear Mama is my boo and the 808 I am trying to enjoy by figuring out how to use it. I am going to try it again with the Mousse Def. I am playing with The Doux peoducts - amount and combos and order of layering.

I absolutely Love the Unbrush. It’s the only thing I use to detangle now. I have the teal and black one. It feels and looks cheap but She works. I said the same thing about the Miche gel. I’m stocked. I know someone who tried the Innersense gel and loved it. She used it as a base gel. I got enough gels right now, I’m good. Not interested in Beyoncé’s hair products. Most of the products I now use are from companies that have a passion for hair care and it is their livelihood. I’m sticking with what I know works. Aside from the Tropical Oasis gel that is a Fave, I really Love the Mane Krush Curl Bae Gelly. I use it with their Amore Moisture Leave In. I have to say this combo allows my hair to look so natural and gives me the most beautifully coily curls that are bouncy and movable. It is a medium hold that lasts about 6 days before I see a little bit of frizz but I just like how natural my hair looks. What I mean by that is it doesn’t look like I have gel in my hair after it dries. It’s a soft natural look and feel. You can also get it in 8 or 12 oz sizes. My last order I got 2 12 oz jars. I Love it. The only thing I’m not fond of is the shipping. The two times I ordered it the shipping was slow. So there’s that. I wish I could get it in store or Amazon. I know you prefer a little crunch so you probably wouldn’t like it but maybe your subscribers might be interested. I used it last week and I was like do I like this more than the Tropical Oasis. 🤔😂But if I want longevity Tropical Oasis for the win. I can go 10-12 days if I had to but I would want to wash my hair by the 7-8 day with the Curl Bae Gelly. That is all. 🤣

I’m trying the 808 to pair with mousse. Remember when they said you only needed the mousse alone? I’m glad that they listened to consumers about the mousse being drying, and added that base gel.

I’m so happy with the new Twist it Up Afro Textured shampoo and conditioner. It’s the best combo I’ve ever tried for moisture. It far exceeds my expectations. It gives me that feeling I had when I first tried the Mane Choice detangling shampoo 🎉🎉

I don’t agree that type 4 hair is automatically coarse, I have fine type 4 hair. Coarseness is the diameter of the strand, any hair/curl type can be coarse

The pumpkin spice and peppermint conditioners are geared towards strength. I prefer pumpkin spice because it has better slip but both are good.

Def debating the innersense. Will prob get the Miche strawberry too but like you in stocked up with the wild rose, Tropical Oasis and Eucalyptus gel 🤷🏽♀️ I'm going to have to wait until more people try Beyoncé 😂 I love the Doux but will prob pass on the straight procucts. I may try that base gel though. Another Creator @stephrachel did a nice wng with the new Curls Blueberry gel
